PARTY CRASHING

My solution: run to Liz. She'll know what to do. I mean; she's secretely a professional hacker (just go with it) so I wanted to know if she could hack the sound system.

The answer was yes.

Liz was also president of the club in charge of running the dances (go figure) and she showed me the voting jars. Tsubaki's blue ticket was in Kim's jar, and Jackie's pink ticket was in mine.

I see now.

And just as Soul and Kim were about to perform the customary action of giving the first slow dance (ewwwww), the slow song is cut off to be replaced with a fast-paced pop song. (I don't like pop music but it matched, okay?) The lights drop, as I sneak onstage, hiding most of my features with my now loose hair, snatching a microphone on my way. Beforehand, I told Liz that I wanted her to keep light everywhere except me, which was probably pretty occupying.

"Little short skirt
With a big attitude
She wants to be a model
Wants to be on the tube
Yeah, it's one thing or another
She's trouble, trouble
Watch out if you're near
She can bring you to tears"

That bitch needs a life if she's as sore of a loser as to freaking swap out the results!
I rock out, enjoying the hate pouring from my lips.

"She's got two boyfriends and three wannabes
And they follow her around
Like she's Aphrodite
And she's number one rated
But she's already jaded
She's following the trends in her
Mercedes-benz"

Sickening!

"If anyone wants to know her name,
Walking down the street she's every guy's dream!
I hate the homecoming queen!
I'm pretty damn sure she can't stand me
She thinks she's on the cover of a magazine!
I hate the homecoming queen!"

(I'm not going to type the whole song. But wow, Maka is the ultimate party crasher.)

After I finish, the room explodes with deafening cheers. When they calm down, I sweetly call out, "Tsubaki? What color did you paint your ticket and who did you vote for?" A small call from the back of the room could be heard. "Blue, and I voted for Maka." Upon hearing my name, I take out Kim's jar and hurtle it at the floor to the right side of me, as most people had already vacated the stage. As the jar smashes, (LOZ REFERENCE! BREAKING POTS, ANYONE?) all the regular tickets, along with Tsubaki's blue one, tumble out. People around the rolm murmur about it, either on my side or Kim's. However, I mostly heard, "Whatever; someone else must've painted theirs blue!" I call out someone else. "Jackie? What color did you paint yours and who did you vote for?" Jackie yelled out, "Pink, and Kim!" On the other side of me, I chuck my jar, which was really Kim's, at the floor, efficiently shattering it. The pink ticket slid out with the rest, and cries, calls, and gasps could be heard throughout the gymnasium.
"Recount the votes. Exactly how honest is your queen if she's such a sore loser that she has to win, even by cheating and switching the labels? Do you want someone like that?"

Kim looked furious and embarassed at being caught, but no shame showed. I dash behind her and remove the crown from her temples.

"Bitch, this is Maka's." I smirk and exit, leaving with the crown and special Liz-aided anonymity as I disappear into the darkness, setting off to relax at home.

(THAT'S JUST ABOUT THE END. MAYBE THERE WILL BE AN EPILOGUE. WHO KNOWS? NOT EVEN ME. IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU TO DECIDE NEXT, MY DRAGON SOULS!)

{Dedicated to the amazing and fabulous @sanity_free_zone because she's my awesome best friend!
