(A/N: Hey,everyone! THIS IS A SHOUTOUT TO MY MYTHICAL, @das_booty_xD WHO JUST FIGURED OUT THAT SHE'S ACTUALLY PAN AND I REALLY RESPECT HER FOR IT! But right now, she's having a lot of friend problems, so I'd like her to have some support.)
{Okay here. I've tried my best for this. I don't know much about Starbucks- I've only been there twice. But I'll tell you guys a story after you read this.}

Maka sipped her frappuccino as she scrolled through her digitalized taxes. She'd input them into the computer, and it would suck up part of her bank account- easiest way to take care of them. Plus, she was left handed, so doing taxes was not a good idea unless she wanted a silver forearm.

Closing her laptop, she opened her phone. There was a new message from Tsubaki. 'Hello, Maka! What are you doing? Liz is coming over in about 15 minutes. We're having a meeting.' Maka gazed around more closely at her surroundings, caught the workers swapping shifts, and sent her answer. 'Over at Starbucks. You want anything?' She sent, the considerate friend she was. As Maka waited for her message to send, she glanced at the worker behind the counter and did a double take.

He was hot.

Not human-like hot.

Fictional book character hot.

Spiky white hair, crimson red eyes, and, somehow, pointed teeth.

Yep, hot.
Seriously hot.

Once she'd accepted that fact, Maka discreetly took a closer look at his name pin. Soul, it read.

Her phone buzzed. 'Sure, grab me a berry hibiscus, please!' And since the shifts had just swapped, she was going to have to talk to him eventually- unless she wanted to wait hours for a much less attractive person to appear. A daring, dangerous idea suddenly came to her, and she slyly and discreetly zoomed in on the dude behind the counter. Making sure she got a clear picture, she held her phone still as her camera app clicked at low volume. Tapping the home button twice, she swapped to Instagram and logged in. And she uploaded it onto the internet with:
#soulfromstarbucks
Afterwards, she did the same on Twitter and Tumblr.
Two minutes later, Maka was ordering her friend's hibiscus from Soul. "I'd like to get a Berry Hibiscus, please."
Puzzled, the albino's gaze dropped to the drink in her hand as he pulled up her order. Seeing his glance, Maka hurriedly attempted to explain. "Oh. It's for my friend," she rushed out, turning pink. Maka waited a few minutes, and finally he had her friend's drink in his hand. He handed it to her and Maka wrapped her hands around the cup, feeling his grip on it as well. Every sensation in her body screamed for her to get closer. Neither of their grips of the cup wavered as their eyes met for a couple of seconds, and something seemed to pass between them. When they finally seemed to realize what they were both doing, they both turned red. Maka's hands slipped from the cup to hang emptyhanded by her side. "I-I'm sorry!" The albino stuttered, holding the cup to her yet again. Maka dismissed his apology with a wave of her hand. "No, don't worry about it. It's my fault." She took the cup. "Thank you... Soul." His eyebrows shot up in confusion. "How do you know my name?"
"Maybe it's monogrammed onto your name tag." Maka replied, a smile on her face.
"Okay, it's not fair that I don't know your name."
"Fine, my name is Maka, and I come here every day. I see you're new on the job."
"Yeah, I am. Wanna join me for lunch on my break?"
Maka was stunned at the offer. She'd been asked out by boys before, but none had been this bold, this spontaneous. Maka smiled happily but apologetically.

"I actually have to go deliver this now to my friend, but maybe some other time. I actually having a book club meeting, so I can't today. Maybe tomorrow?"
"Of course!"

Maka glanced at her watch and spun on her her heel as she walked out the door, waving a backwards hand farewell. The last thing Soul heard as the door slammed shut was, "Oh, come on! Now my frappuchino's cold! But at least he was cool."

Neither of them noticed Liz in the corner, grinning evilly at the picture of Soul that Maka had posted.

{Okay, storytime! I was in first period math class (yes, it sucks. Math first thing in the morning is what you don't want.) and there's this girl who I really hate, she's a total loudmouthed brat. She's a complete stuck up, self centered bitch. Let's call her KK. KK was up in her seat that was two seats in front of me. And I would sigh and bite back at whatever she said. That day, she had a Berry Hibiscus on her desk, and she was drinking it as the teacher was passing by. So KK was just in dreamland. Then, the teacher accidentally bumped into her, spilling the contents of the drink onto KK's clothes. And I swear, I was laughing so hard. You should've seen her face! Okay, storytime's over.}
