Chapter 9*

May strong breeze na dumaan sa amin... a different kind of gust. "Sa taas!" turo ni Kelvin. Tumingala kami sa sky. Unexpectedly, nagfoform ang clouds ng isang spiral-shaped vortex covering the whole campus. The first thing I knew... may water droplet na pumatak sa braso ko. The next, may pumatak naman sa mukha ko. Parami nang parami ang drops of water. Tumakbo kaming mga students dun sa mga pwedeng silungan. Kami nama'y nasa waiting shed... biglang bumuhos ang ulan. Good thing at nakatulong ang ulan sa pag-apula sa apoy...

"Students, the administration has been talking about the recent incident... It has come to our decision that classes will be suspended this week. You may go back to your homes after the rain has stopped..." sabi ng dean ng high school. Tumila na at tumigil na ang ulan. Unti-unting nag-alisan ang mga estudyante at mga teachers pero pinili na lang namin nina Kelvin at Daniel na tumigil muna para pag-usapan ang nangyari. Pero parang unfocused si Daniel...

"You'd better come and take a look at this..." turo ni Daniel na nakadungaw sa gate ng campus. Sumunod kami at tiningnan ang tinitingnan niya. Whoa. A skull mark burned on the cemented ground. We're doomed.

"Pissed off na ako sa mga Doku Hebi na yan. Sabi na ngang..." sigaw ni Kelvin pero bigla itong napatigil at bumagsak sa ground. People in the area were slowly stopping maliban sa amin ni Daniel. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Eh paano kung sabihin naming nandito ang Son of Lights? Tao ka lang, Doku Hebi ako," sabi ng isang lalake.

"Show yourself, coward," sigaw ni Dan sa boses. Biglang may blue flame na nag-ignite sa harap namin. Nang lumabas na nang buo yung kulay asul na apoy ay biglang namatay ito revealing a person. "By the way, I'm Fritz Kunitaka, ang ikaanim na Doku Hebi... ang kapatid ni Doanne na basta niyo na lang pinatay," umimik siya. Tinutukan niya si Daniel ng masamang tingin sabay sabi, "At ikaw Dan, pinagkatiwalaan ka ng kapatid mo at mga kauri mo, why'd you betray us, dude?"

"Ayaw ko na nang ganito. Naghahanap lang sa wala. Tama na naman!" sagot ni Dan habang nagtatransform sa evil side niya. "Heh, okay then..." sagot ni Fritz. His fists were burning blue. Meanwhile, si Dan ay natakbo patungo kay Fritz nang biglang nawalan siya ng motion at bumagsak ito na parang android na naubusan ng charge.

"I am so dead," I whispered but I was feeling something strange. "DIE, YOU SCUM!" sigaw ni Fritz habang nagrelease siya ng blue fireballs towards me. Dangerously hot. I dodged it but running away from him. Wait. I dodged it by running away. Kept running and running until... I was running on the wall of the waiting shed, and yet I stayed on the wall with my two feet on the wall. I never knew I had these reflexes.

I flipped off the wall and began to spin in mid-air. I was going to dive down to Fritz while spinning to do a drill kick until... I see another human racing with me in mid-air. I turned to my right and looked at a guy who was about to release a deadly beam on me. "Time Breaker!" isinagaw niya. SHIT. Siya yung ikapitong Doku Hebi...

Quickly, I changed the position of my body from a straight spinning motion to a spinning right angle position (yung parang taong nakaupo sa sahig). My spin had turned me to a human twister. This time, I was doing a spinning kick. My feet had now hit the seventh Doku Hebi down to Fritz. OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH! Nahulog yung ikapitong Doku Hebi nang matamaan ko siya dun kay Fritz. Pareho naknockout. I turned back to the straight spinning motion and drilled down on the two. I walked back off to see if everything was good.
