January 4, 2013. CLASS RESUME.

"So I guess Mr. June Ongsee has finished his exchange program and we have a new student in class, so... Ms. Yurei, can you please introduce yourself?" sabi ni Sir.

"Gladly, Sir. Good morning Grade 7 - Class A. I am Katelyn Yurei. A new student who had recently dropped out from Nevix High School now continuing my studies here. Hope we become friends," inintroduce ni Cute ang sarili niya sa klase nang bigla niya akong binigyan ng kindat. Tinginan sa akin ang mga classmates ko. "Okay Ms. Yurei, you may sit beside Mr. De Roxas..." sabi ni Sir habang naglakad si Katelyn sa chair na katabi ko.

"Hey cute, missed you," sabi ni Katelyn. "Missed you too, cute," I whispered back. "Uiiiiiiiiiii," sound effects ni Dan. "Psst. Maya na yan, may klase eh, hehehe," sabi ni Kelvin. Biglang may kumatok sa pinto... Binuksan ni Sir.

"Um, okay po..." siguro kinausap ni Sir ang principal na kumatok. "So class, I think your 'former classmate' has really become your new classmate and will finish his studies until March. Please welcome back, Mr. June Ongsee," sabi ni Sir habang pumasok na ulit si June, "Okay June, you may go back to your usual seat or find a new seat." Naglakad si June dun sa next chair na katabi ni Kelvin.

"Hey June. Kala ko babalik ka na sa Nexus High School?" sabi ni Kelvin. "That's what I also knew at first. Kaso inenroll ako ng mom ni Cody," sagot ni June. "Okay class, now back to the lesson..." sabi ni Sir.

Dismissal. Sa bahay, nilapitan ako ni June. "Cody, pwede samahan mo ako sa Jansport Public Cemetery. I wanna see my mom's grave..." Pumayag ako at tumungo kami sa sementeryo. Sa harap ng puntod ng true mom ni June ay may nakadikit na papel sa lapida. Binasa ito ni June pero binigay sa akin. "Ikaw na magbasa niyan," sabi ni June. Binasa ko nga.

Lumingon nga ako at may isang treasure chest nga. Binuksan ko yun at nakakita ako ng isang scythe. "Wait, akin toh?" sabi ko. "Obviously," sagot ni June. The moment I held the scythe, it then faded and I felt in my body every bit of power I gave up for Katelyn.

Goodbye to my normal me, and hello to Cody Zephyr De Roxas, the 'Chosen One'. Now this is a future I can only imagine.☺☻☺☻☺
