S2E8: Keep fighting for the fallen

The global resistance all gather to honor a fallen hero, Bolt, aka August. A picture frame is shown of Bolt on the stage, everyone is silent to honour Bolt for his sacrifice.

Tucker was the first to step up on stage and walk up to the microphone. He stood there for a short moment and then begins to say.

Tucker: August died defending innocents like a true hero. He.....he proof to everyone what it means to be real hero's by sacrificing his life for those who he doesn't know. I wished I was there to say goodbye to him. He was apart of our team and seeing him go.......heartbreaks me. It heartbreaks all of us.

After him Ella was next with tears in her eyes as she then start by saying.

Ella: (tears) Before I came here......i was rejected by my family due to my powers. Even though they did this to me. They betrayed me and I felt.....hurt......and alone. But when I came here and met everyone here including August. I feel like I finally belong somewhere. August treat me like a little sister and always there whenever my past comes back. (Sniff) I'm sorry I wasn't there August. Please forgive me.

She begins to cry when Carson came up and he takes over as she leaves stage and then Carson begins to say.

Carson: The first time we met.....me and him used to have beef. He mock how I don't have power rather I use my skills while I compare him as a human size battery. (Little chuckle) He didn't like that at all. But.....as time gone by.....he get closer and we were like brothers. I have his back and he has mine......but.......now he's gone. I wish i have his back but......I wasn't.

Then Rhett came up after Carson and he make his say.

Rhett: When I see what Homelander and other sups were....I was disgusted. They use their power for selfish pleasure and never care about human lives. I hope they saw August death cause if they did.........August is a better hero than Homelander or the Seven.

There were a few claps from other resistance members and then Jenson came up.

Jenson: As the first sup to join the Resistance I felt responsible for bringing other Rogue hero's to join the resistance. They couldn't have left, ran away to live free lives but they join to fight for a battle world. It wasn't August but other Rogue sups. I feel like....if I hadn't join.....maybe they all will still be alive. But I realise if I hadn't....our lives wouldn't have gone worse and they choose to join, not me. August.....you show other Rogue sups what true hero's are and we shall never forget about that.

Then Leia was last as she came up and make hee say.

Leia: At first I was concerned that August would be the creep of the team. I've met guys who are similar like him who are creeps and I thought he was.....but I was wrong. He treat me like a human and now he die as a hero. Wished I would apologise for acting so weird towards him when we first met. I hope he rest easy.

Leia step down and then Y/n came up. He take a glance at August picture frame and then back to everyone and make his speech.

Y/n: We knew what we were signing up when we begin our war against Vought and the corrupt government. We all knew the risk, we knew that one day our brothers, sisters and friends would die on a mission or battle. Either by battle or heroic sacrifice. August shows the world what true hero's is about. They save lives, protecting the innocent and when all odds are against them.....they will sacrifice to ensure lives will be saved. Our cost is to open the world's eyes and see how corrupt the sups are and fight along side us. We will all miss August. He was a great hero. He was a true superhero. "Superhero" isn't given...it is earned and August aka Bolt's.....earned that title. Let us not forget not just August but those we have lost. They shall be remembered forever. For August and to our cost!
