Olivia's P.O.V.

Two days. That is how long Ace has been out and how long I never left his side the whole time he was out. The only time I left was to use the bathroom and take showers but that was it and the bathroom is in the room. Casper was the one who has been feeding me and taking away the dirty dishes. That was about it. I was the one even taking care of Ace. I didn't want anything to happen to him while he was out. Not to mention, I wanted to be here for when he needed to be comforted.
Ace does get nightmares and I wanted to comfort him as he slept. Why does he have to suffer? If it was just me it'd be fine. I just don't Ace to suffer.
Just as I thought that I took his hand kissed. Then I whispered,
"Is it possible for a princess to protect her knight?"
"Mistress?" I heard Casper say. I then placed Ace's hand back down by his side and turned to see Casper standing above me in his human form.
"Oh. Hey Casper. You need anything?" I asked with a smile.
"No. But you need something. Sleep. You are getting black patches under your eyes.
"Huh? I am? Haha. Well, I dozed off earlier. So I'm ok. Thank you for caring about me though. Haha." I said as I laughed a little. Casper sighed and shook his head.
"Geez. You are a weird woman." Casper sighed out.
"Oi. You are the last person to be talking about weird." I said with a a frown.
"Haha. Yea yea. If you keep frowning then you're going to get wrinkles." Casper chuckled and then started to poke my forehead. I started to laugh and then hugged Casper. I love Casper. He is my best friend and I appreciate how he looks out for me. He is good kitty despite his many flaws.
"Casper, Arigatou. I love you." I whispered into his ear as I hugged him still.
When I pulled away I smiled at Casper who was blushing with a shocked face. I laughed and started to pet his hair. Casper purred and pressed his closer.
I kept petting him as I chuckled. He hugged my waist as he knelt down, since I was on a chair. Casper was beaming as his ears were perked and his tail was pointed up as it swayed.
Then, the moment was broken when we heard a long, low, growl. We looked down and heard it again. It was my stomach.
Casper stared up at me with a look that looked like a, "you gotta be kidding me" face. I laughed nervously and started to scratch the back of me head.
"I guess I am hungry I guess."
"Mistress, you need to leave this room."
"No. What if something happens while I am gone. I am not leaving this room until Ace is awake and that I know he is ok."I said firmly as I had my fists up to my chest, my face earnest. Casper & facepalmed.
"Sou ka(I see). Well, you were always like this so I am not that surprised. Ok, well, I'll be back. I'm going to get you some food. Haha. It seems like I am taking care of you now instead of you taking care of me." Casper said, grinning. I smiled and nodded.
"Hai(yes). If seems so. Haha. I am glad to have you Casper. Thank you for everything that you do for me." I said with a smile. Casper nodded.
"Don't mention it. Well, I will go get your food. Be right back. Oh, and one more thing."
"What is it?"
"I love you too mistress." Casper said with a smile. I beamed and nodded. Casper then left and I was alone again with Ace in our room.
Holding Ace's hand in my hands, I pressed it against my cheek as I closed my eyes. I wanted him to caress my cheek like how he would when I want him too or when the mood felt right. Right now, I wanted him to. Also, I want him to be awake; to be ok; to have him say he loves me and hold me tight. I want to see his eyes again. To hear his voice.
Tears started to fall down my cheeks as my heart ached. I know Ace is going to be ok but... Just then, I felt Ace's thumb rub away some tears.
Shocked, I looked up and saw Ace looking up at me with a soft smile.
"Hey, don't cry. I don't like seeing people cry. It's sad." Said with a light heartedly.
"Ace." I squeaked out and sniffed, wiping away tears as Ace kept his hand on my cheek.
"Shhh. Calm down first ok?" Ace said & smiled softly.
I couldn't help it, I broke down and hugged him. I was so reliebed and happy. He's ok. He's ok! Kami-sama, arigatou(god, thank you). Arigatou gozaimasu(thank you so much)!
Ace chuckled and scooted over, making me fall face first in on the bed. Ace laughed and I pouted as I sniffed.
"Hey...."
"When someone scoots over it means that they gave you room." Ace said, chuckling still as he patted the spot next him. I smiled and laughed getting on the bed with him.
He held me as I too embraced him. I fought back a cry and smiled, burying my face into his bare and bandaged chest.
Ace pet my hair and kept a arm wrapped around my waist. He kissed my forehead and then buried his face into my hair. I felt my heart pound as I beamed. Extremely happy.
"Ace?" I said asked.
"Hm?" Ace said as he still had his face buried in my hair.
"Do you remember what happened to you?"
"Umm. Hm. Let me think." Ace then looked up, thinking as his chin rested on the top of my head as I was still in his embrace. I waited for his response, my face now pressed against his collar bone.
"Nope. Can't remember. What happened?"
"Oh. Well, you were possessed by a man and then...bad things happened and you were passed out in the end. You were out for two days and I...." I was then cut off by Ace as he lifted my chin and kissed me. It surprised me at first but I got into it and kissed back. Our kiss was deep and passionate as we kept each other close.
When we pulled out away, we were out of breath and our faces flushed. We laughed and then calmed down.
"Olivia, thank you."
"For what?"
"Everything." Ace said as he hugged me. Smiling, I kissed him once more and curled up close to him; snuggling. Then, I fell asleep completely exhausted.
