Step by step, Clave made her way alone through the ruins. Just when she thought it would be in the same state as the castle, the temple was completely destroyed.

"This place has a very sad atmosphere..." mused the young girl, overcome by a strange feeling.

She rummaged around and, after a while of exploring, found an area of the building less damaged than the others. Studying it, it seemed to her that the foundations here were more recent than the others. She soon discovered a narrow path that seemed to lead down into the depths. Little reassured, but determined, the young girl, her hands outstretched in front of her in the darkness, entered the passage.

She could see almost nothing in front of her, so she decided to find something to make light first. She could make light with her magic, but she needed something to contain it.

After a few minutes of groping around in the dark, she finally found a small lantern, which looked as if it had once hung from the ceiling on a chain. Clave created little golden sparks, then flicked them as they flew through the air into the lantern. She held it up in front of her and lit up the tunnel, although faintly. The young girl could make out detailed mosaics on the walls. Some were faded, but most were still intact. Clave gently brushed against them with her fingertips.

The young girl walked for a long time in almost total silence, her only companions being the echo of her footsteps and the light of her magic. Then, after a while, she came to a dead end. She held her lantern higher in front of her and noticed an hourglass-shaped pedestal to her left. She approached it and saw a notch in the shape of a teardrop.

"Like my necklace.

She carefully removed it from her neck and inserted it into the slot. As expected, it fit perfectly. However, nothing happened.

Suddenly, footsteps sounded behind the young girl. She turned around, frightened, and looked around quickly, raising her lantern.

– Who's there?

– It's only me, Clave.

The blonde calmed down as she recognised Noah's voice.

– What are you doing here? she asked.

The telepath didn't answer. Slowly, he joined her, step by step, then gently placed his hand on her cheek.

– Thank you very much, Princess.

Clave frowned.

– Noah...?

Before the young girl could react, chains bound around her legs and caused her to fall. She dropped her lantern and it rolled away. She looked at Noah, dumbfounded.

– Noah? she called in a small voice.

The young man stepped back, turned to the wall and whispered:

– C6L32A6V1E2.

Then, with a thud, the wall split in two.

– Sorry, said Noah, looking away.

And he entered the passageway created, leaving Clave, devastated, behind him.
