Chapter 10

Hardin POV

Since Emily had a kind of bad today after the pictures got released I thought I would give her today her day. She could do whatever she wants. I called Vance and I told him that Emily and I taking a day off. I told him what happened at school today and he got what happened today and gave us a day off.

I'm in my car waiting for Tessa to come out of campus to tell her the big news about what's happening today. She came out of the campus with Landon and honestly I'm happy that those two are friends. Emily needs friends in her life and I know Landon is not into her like I am. He just wants to be friends with her and I'm okay with that.

Landon and Emily hugged and then Emily walked towards to my car.

"Hey you" I told her as she got into my car

"Hi" she said and I peak her lips

"I missed you today" I told her and she chuckled

"You saw me after my class and during lunch" she said

"That was only for like 30 minutes. You don't like it when I miss you?" I asked her

"Maybe" she said

"I'm going to take that maybe as a yes. You and I don't have work today" I told her

"How come?" she asked me

"I told Vance to give us a day off. I told him what happened at school and I decided today is your day. We can do whatever you want" I told her

"You didn't have to do" she said with a smile on her face and I smiled at her

"I want to. I know you were upset when those pictures were released. I'm so glad Zed told Molly to delete everything before the whole campus saw it" I told her

"And you're sweet for telling Zed that. But you don't have to-" she said but I cut her off by kissing her lips

She giggled and kissed me back.

"I want to. What do you want to do?" I asked her

"Can we go to an aquarium?" she asked me

"Sure. If that's what you want and then we could grab dinner after?" I asked her

"Yep" she said and I smiled

I started the car and drove us to the aquarium. I couldn't help but put one of my hand on her leg and she looked at me.

"What are you doing?" Emily asked me

"I'm just putting my hand on your leg, love nothing more" I told her and she smiled

We walked into the aquarium hand in hand and being the gentleman I am and the person I'm trying to be I paid for our tickets. We walked into the aquarium and we were surrounded by dolphins and little fishes. There was a big oval glass as we walked in that is filled everything.

"Look that looks like Nemo" Emily said as she saw a orange fish

"A what?" I asked her as I stood beside her

"Nemo. The animation movie. Please tell me you watched as you were little" she told me

"No I haven't. I never watched those Disney shit when I was younger. I never watched cartoons or anything" I told her

"We were watching it tonight" she told me

"But" I said but she cut me off

"No if's or but's. We are watching the movie" she said
