Emily POV
Last night was terrible. Once I left with Karen Hardin was gone. He got drunk and started a fight with his mom and dad. He always yelled at me yesterday and when he said he was going to London after graduation that made me sad because what is going on happen to us. Are we still going to work? Can we do long distance? I don't know what's going on.
This morning I woke up with someone in the kitchen. I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom to do my business. I went to the kitchen to see Hardin is cooking breakfast. I always cook breakfast and I never seen Hardin cook and he looks good while cooking. Hardin noticed that I woke up and he smiled at me.
"Good morning" Hardin said
"Good morning" I told him
"How did you sleep?" he asked me as I walked up to him
"Okay. How about you?" I asked him
"Not good since you were not beside me this morning" he said and I gave him a slight smile
"How's your hangover?" I asked him
"It's okay. I took the pill and I'm sorry about last night" he said
"It's okay" I told him as I turned off the stove
He turned off the stovetop and walked over to me.
"No I'm really sorry about last night. I misbehaved at my father's party. I started a fight with my mother and father. I didn't mean to do anything but the alcohol in my system decided to start fights. I know I scared you because my mum told me that you got scared when I punched my father and I'm sorry for scaring you" he said and I smiled at him
He held my face gently and rubbed my cheek gently.
"I'm sorry *kiss on the forehead* I'm sorry *kiss on my nose* I'm sorry *kiss both of my cheeks * I'm sorry" he said as he kissed my face to make me giggle
"Okay. Okay. You're forgiven" I told him
"Are you sure?" he asked as he keeps kissing my face to make me laugh
"Yes now stop" I told him and he did and looked at me "I love you. Okay yes, I got scared yesterday when you got drunk because when I joined you in your dorm I never seen you drunk except for yesterday and it scared me a bit when you got a fight with your dad" I told him
"I know and I promise you I won't drink anything ever again" he said
"You pinky promise?" I asked him as I held up my pinky and he chuckled
"Do we have to do this pinky promise again?" he asked me
"Yes or else you will drink again and the next time I won't forgive you" I told him
"I pinky promise that I won't drink anything ever again expect for soda and water" he said as he pinky promised me
"Thank you" I told him
"You're welcome. Are you hungry?" he asked as he grabbed two plates
"Yes. What did you cook?" I asked him
"Bacon and French toast" he said
"Yum. I didn't know you could cook" I told him
"When I was younger my mum always taught me how to cook and so I learned few things here and there. You're the first girl I cooked for besides my mother" he said
"Really? Now I feel so special" I told him and he smiled at me
"You better be" he said as he put the bacon and the French toast onto the plate and we went to sit at the dining table "I talked to my dad today" he said as we sat down and I looked at him
