Hardin POV
I woke up this morning with a pillow hitting my face. I groaned but opened my eyes to see Emily is up. She's ready in the morning. She's wearing a pair of jeans with a green t-shirt and a jean jacket over it.
"Good morning" Emily said with a smile on her face
"Good morning. Why am I up?" I asked her
"I want to ask you something" she said
"What do you want to ask?" I asked her
"I want to go to a coffee shop to work on my assignment. Can you please come with me so I won't be alone?" she asked me
"What am I going to do there with you?" I asked her
"Just to keep me company. Please" she begged
"Fine. I will get ready" I told her
"Yay! Thank you" she said
"Yeah. Yeah. You owe me" I told her
"I know" she said as I got up
I grabbed my clothes and headed to the bathroom.

"Hi can I have cream cheese bagel with orange juice?" Emily asked the lady
"Alright and how about you?" the lady asked me
"A black coffee" I told her
"You don't want anything to eat?" Emily asked
"No I'm good" I told her
The lady told us the amount and Emily paid for it since she owes me this morning for waking me up.
"Thanks" I told Emily as she paid
"No problem. You deserve it after I woke you up" she told me
"Yeah I do and who woke me up this morning?" I asked her
"Not me" she said
"Sure it wasn't. You don't drink coffee?" I asked her
"No. I don't like the taste of it" she said
"Oh that's the new thing to know" I told her
The lady handed my coffee and Emily's bagel and juice. Emily and I went to find a spot to sit at.

"What are you doing?" I asked Emily as she was touching my hair
"Fixing your hair" she said
I don't let anyone touch my hair but there something with Emily I let her do anything. After I told her about my nightmares I feel like I could trust her and I could do anything with her. But I thought I would tease about why she is touching my hair.
"You know I don't like people touching my hair" I told her
"I know but you like when I do" she said
"That's not true" I told her
"Yes it is and you like me as a friend" she said
"Nope" I teased
"Are you sure? If not, I'm going" she said as she tried to get up
"Sit your ass back down" I told her
"Nope" she said but I could see she's trying to smile but she can't
I got up from my spot and walked to her.
"You're not going to sit your ass back down?" I asked her
"Nope" she said
