Hardin POV
I woke up a while ago and I'm just in the living room while Emily still asleep in our bedroom. For a while since I started dating Emily I've been writing in a journal. Throwing my emotions into this journal and my feelings towards Emily that I don't share with her a lot. I will show it to her one day but now I'm just scribbling ideas down.
"When did you wake up?" I heard Emily asked
I looked up to see Emily's out of bed but she still have blanket wrapped around her. She looks cute. I can't get over her adorableness this morning.
"A while ago. Are you okay?" I asked her as I put my journal down beside me so she could come and sit on my lap
"Nope" she said as she came and plopped down on my lap
I smiled and wrapped my arms around her.
"How come?" I asked her
"My monthly visitor decided to show up" she said
I chuckled because I know what that meant. Her period came today. We were talking about it last night how her period is supposed to come today. I don't know why we were talking about but I guess we just talked about it.
"We talked about it last night and it decided to show up this morning" I told her and she smiled at me
"Yep and wanted to leave me with some cramps this morning" she said
I chuckled and kissed her forehead.
"Is that bad?" I asked her
"Yeah it worse this time though. It feels like a truck hit me so many times" she said
"Where does it hurt?" I asked her
"Here" she said as she pointed the spot where her cramps were hurting.
"Now is it okay?" I asked her as I rubbed the spot that she was hurting
"Thank you" she said and I smiled at her
"You're welcome. Do you want to eat anything?" I asked her
"No thank you" she said
"Are you sure? We need to put food in you" I told her
"Later when I feel hungry" she said
"Okay can I have a kiss though?" I asked her and she smiled
"I need to think about it" she said
She's being cheeky this morning. But I like her cheeky and playful side.
"You need to what?" I asked her as I pulled her closer to me and that made me giggle
That sound is like music into my ears.
"To think about it" she said
"Oh really? You need to think about it?" I asked her
"Yeah. I need to think about if I could give you a kiss this morning. Were you a good boyfriend this morning?" she asked and I chuckled at her stupid questions but I go with it just to make her smile
"Yes I was because I let you sleep in and you had cramps this morning and I rubbed your spot that had cramps" I told her and she smiled
"Yes you did for that you will get a kiss" she said
I was about to lean into give her kiss but she moved her head to make me kiss her cheek.
"You're cheeky this morning aren't ya?" I asked her
She giggled and turned her to me so she could give me a kiss. I smiled into the kiss and slipped my tongue under us to make it a longer kiss.
"I like it when I call you me that" she said shyly and I smiled at her shyness
