Jealousy

It had been a month since I had 'Kidnapped' Mikey from his 'lovely log hut' as he says. The first few days were very wild, everyone wanting to meet this new person who has similar abilities to me. There was a huge meeting, Mikey moving into the butterfly mansion (against his free will), and him getting along with Tanjiro and the others too. I loved being around him so much again, but I didn't love how he would go through so much effort to wake me up at 4am every morning. Mainly because I go to bed at 3am.

Even though everyone at the butterfly mansion, Shinobu, Kanao, Aoi, the three girls, and the Tanjiro squad have taken a liking to him, someone sure didn't. Every single time Sanemi would visit and see me with Mikey he would act distant and avoid me. But as soon as Mikey left, he would be with me again. I didn't understand what was going on, but I was planning to talk to him. Eventually.

"Watch this I got it this time!!" I looked at Mikey try and do an ability like me for the 67th time in the past hour. I was getting bored of him throwing his arms in random directions and yelling words, so I laid down and tried to sleep. "Hey wait watch I feel this is the moment!!"

"That's what you said last time. And last time. And last time. And last time."

"Ya well this is a new time. So watch me."

"Y/N-CHAN!!" I turned my head around on the ground to see Mitsuri running at me, before noticing the idiot next to me. "Are you... Mikey-san?"

"Just call him idiot." I waved a hand at Mikey as he attacked me on the ground, while Mitsuri looked at us concerned and confused.

"Just leave them be this is normal." Obanai appeared behind her and walked to her side, Mikey strangling me on the ground.

"Normal?" Mitsuri tilted her head as Obanai let out an exasperated sigh and shook his head. "But he's killing her?"

"LET ME GO YOU JERK!!" I punched Mikey in the gut and sent him flying backwards, while I hot up and brushed myself off.

"Whats happening here??" Rengokus voice beamed over everything else as Mikeys face lit up. Even though it had only been a month, Mikey had taken quite the liking to Rengoku, and Rengoku to Mikey to. I was also fairly close with him, so the three of us did things together regularly.

"RENGOKU-SAN!!" Mikey sprung up off the ground and jumped on Rengoku, hugging him tightly while I just started at Mikey bitterly.

"Mikey!! I see you're doing well!!" While Mikey and Rengoku began talking in their own world as usual, I walked over to Mitsuri and Obanai.

"I don't know that guy." I pointed to Mikey while Obanai rolled his eyes and Mitsuri smiled.

"Oh ya!! Y/n-chan, want to come have lunch with me and Iguro-san??" Upon hearing this my face lit up, and Obanais shifted to shock.

"Of course id love to go." I said every single word while staring at Obanai, who was looking like he wanted to torture me to death. But I was feeling like starting beef, so I was going to.

"Thats wonderful!! We were going to go to- SHINAZUGAWA-SAN!!" Mitsuri shot her hand up and began yelling to get Sanemis attention, while he was just passing by. We were just a little off the main road in a clearing, so it wasn't hard to spot us. He looked at her uninterested until I smiled at him and he ended up walking over to us. Obanai on the other hand looked ever more defeated than before.

"What is it." He walked over to my side with his arms crossed while glancing between a depressed Obanai and happy Mitsuri.

"Would you like to come eat with us?" He looked skeptically at Obanai who was shaking his head to the side where Mitsuri couldn't see him. Then he looked at me, while I was nodding at him. He seemed to get my evil intentions and shrugged before replying.
