Gang I swear on my mamas life I had an amazing reason for not updating for this long but I'm not tryna rant so trust me here🙏🙏

"Why can't I stay??"

"Why would I let you stay and watch me die inside??" Tengen had been whining, for an hour now, after I told him to skidaddle his ass else where.

"Because I've been helping you get through this tuff day, I'll need to help you after this too"

"So reassuring." Mitsuri had left when I asked her nicely, and to be fair I asked Tengen nicely once too. I knew I was probably being dramatic about Sanemis return, but it's not like this old mans helping it.

"Hey I'm trying to be nice here, you should be begging for me to stay and bless you with my presence"

"I swear I'm going to call in the wives if your ass doesn't spring up and waddle out." He rolled his eyes and shrugged while smirking, sitting up and leaning back against the table from the floor.

"And what would you even tell them?? Come on, you know you want me here"

"I really don't"

"But I need to be there for you when you start panicking upon seeing him-"

"Ok were done with this I'm callin the wives" Tengen groaned and reached out for his old man cane, slowly standing up while side eyeing me.

"Ill go, but you better not come crawling back for assistance. Actually, no please do that it would be funny, and I need to know what happens" I start shoving the crippled man towards the door, while he goes on about how he's literally going to carry our relationship and how he'd help me considering his love life.

Does he actually use that cane? I genuinely have only seen him use it for hitting people. Maybe it's an old person thing. I wouldn't know.

But I do know that the sun is setting. So I godda hurry. Maybe he wont even be back tonight? I still do wanna see him, maybe I am being dramatic.

"Ok old man, socializing time is over lets get you back to the nursing facility" He shook his head at me like I was the one disappointing him, like I had personally attacked him. This man I swear.

"Alright then my dear y/n, I'm expecting a letter the second he and you are done talking. Mitsuri would probably like one too. And details would be nice- don't let the crows carry it in their mouth it gets dent-"

"You're making my ears bleed" I slid the door open and physically shoved him out, and thanks to my amazing control over my weird abilities, I actually was able to actually move him.

"Dramatic. I hope it all goes badly for you." And with that he turned around and started stomping away to go bother someone else. I never thought id ever see a retired Tengen, but here we are.

I slid the door and went back to the kitchen, not really sure what to do while I wait. I could plan on what to say. Just something like "Thank you for being an actual gentleman." But at the same time...
