"Mmm..." I opened my eyes to realize I was safely tucked away in my comfortable and warm bed, the sun shining in through the closed windows. Truth be told, I was even more tired than I had been the last couple days 'didn't know that was possible' and I felt like not moving and doing absolutely nothing with my life.

But then Shinobu would murder me. 'Speaking of which...'

"Y/n-chan? Oh good you're awake." She slid the door open and walked over to me with an envelope in her hand, while I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. "It's a note from the master."

She handed me the note which I took from her while thanking her, then yawned and fell back down onto my cloudy pillow while she stood there. "Open it."

"Oh ya sorry." I rolled onto my side with one arm proping me up as I tore the note open and began to read out loud.

"Dear Y/n,

I regret to bother you during such early hours, but this is important. Rengoku, Tanjiro, Zenitzu, and Inosuke have all been sent out on a mission. I have been informed the demon is probably one of the 12 kizuki, and I am requesting you, Y/n, and Mikey to go assist them if they need it. Of course, i'll send the wind hashira with you to ensure your safety.

Please write back as soon as you can- Oyakata Kagaya."

After I finished reading I sighed loudly and covred my whole body with the warm blankets, while Shinobu picked up the letter and read it again herself. "You sure do get paired up with the wind hashira a lot don't you?"

"Ya. I don't wanna go on another mission with anyone, it always ends up bad for me-"

"Y/N WE GET TO GO EXPLORING!!" Out of no where Mikey slams the door open and runs over to me all exited like a child getting candy. "AREN'T YOU EXCITED??"

I give him a blank stare before rolling over onto my other side, "I'm so excited I could explode."

"Don't be such a loser. Get up and be happy with me." Mikey took my warm comfy covers off of me harshly and began trying to drag me out of bed while Shinobu slowly walked out of the room with a concerned look.

"LET ME GO, I NEED MY WARMTH!!" I yelled at him and tried to hit his hands away, only to be thrown onto the cold, hard, wooden floor. Even though I just wanted to fall asleep on the floor right then and there, I needed to get revenge for getting me out of my amazing bed.

"You have 3 seconds." I stood up slowly while Mikey instantly ran towards the door snickering like an idiot, only to run into someone while opening it.

"Watch it."

'Oh an angry Sanemi.'

"Uuhh Nemi don't kill him just yet please." Mikey backed away with his hands in the air as Sanemi stormed by him and walked over to me as I sat back down on the bed.

"Why does that idiot have to come with us." He glared at Mikey, who had sat himself in the corner, and waved at us.

"Come on he's not that bad is he?" I stood up and walked over to Mikey, kicking him once before heading out of the door. 'I am going to die if I have to deal with these two... an idiot with anger issues and in idiot whos just an idiot. What a safe combination.'

"I'm so tired." Mikey complained again for the thousandth time in the past minute. I nodded in agreement while Sanemi tried his best to ignore us while walking ahead.

"Ay it's kinda getting late isn't it." I glance at the sun that was slowly setting below the horizon, barely noticeable if it weren't for the blinding lights it casted.
