Train issues

"Are you kidding me."

I looked at the demon in front of us, everyone but Rengoku still. I could feel the power radiating off of him, he just felt like darkness itself.

"Y/n, Tanjiro, stay behind me." Rengoku ordered, probably forgetting about the other two boys with us.

"Whys he lowkey look like a big foreheaded basketball." Tanjiros hand connected with the back of my head, before he whisper yelled at me.

"Y/n, with all due respect, shut the fuck up." I had never heard an angle like him cuss before. Maybe I should take this seriously to. Just because I cant die doesn't mean they cant.

I was still shaken by the... dream? Flashback? I don't know what that was, but I didn't like it. I still didn't feel like my knees could support my weight, so I really couldn't go help Rengoku even if I wanted to.

I began to panic when I realized Sanemi and Mikey weren't here, fearing something might have happened to them. I looked into the trees, hoping they would apear out of no where, but they didn't. I was so focused I didn't even realize that Rengoku had begin to fight the demon until Tanjiro began yelling. I turned around to see them exchanging blows, it all looking like some sort of art made by a professional or somethin.

It seemed like it was never going to end, but right as I looked away Tanjiro yelled again. I turned my head quickly to see what was going on, and I saw Rengoku almost cutting the demons head off, but then the demon attacked with the katana still in his neck, punching right through Rengoku.

"RENGOKU-SAN!!" Tanjiro screamed and tried to stand up, but fell down for some reason. I turned to go look at the flame head and saw he had a fist going through his torso. The demons fist. He was gonna die.

I felt a wave of panic wash over me as the three idiots beside me started yelling. I had begun to stand up when all of a sudden my feet were dangling in the air, the ground below me. I felt someone holding me up by the neck of my haori, slightly choking me in the process.

"You're y/n aren't you..." The demon. The one that just killed Rengoku. "I'm afraid I can't let you heal him. But don't worry, I won't kill you either." He dropped me on the ground while standing over me while my back was turned to him. I couldn't see him, but his presence was clearly there. I wasn't even scared though. I couldn't die. But Rengoku could. And he was going to.

I stood up and tried to make a dash towards Rengoku, who was now on his knees, but the demon grabbed me again and prevented me from moving forward. I desperately wanted to help him, use the weird powerful abilities to kill this demon, but I couldn't. I didn't know why, but I couldn't. It was like my head was so overwhelmed with emotions and memories of the dead that my body wouldn't let me function.

"Let me go y-you demon." I was trembling slightly from the cold and adrenaline, but I felt hot from being so agitated. I turned to face the demon for the first time and saw him up close. He had blue lines all over his white skin, a pink buzz cut lookin thing, and eyes that read "Upper Three." An upper rank. 'So I wasn't imagining things. His head is lowkey really round like a ball...'

"I would take you with me to our lord, but I don't like torturing women. Even if they can't die, allegedly." Just then, Tanjiro ran towards upper three, sword in hand as he began to attack, but the demon ran into the forest. He looked pissed as he ran, and I noticed why as the sun lit up the horizon. 'He can't hurt them anymore.'

"YOU COWARD!! DON'T RUN AWAY!!" Tanjiro chucked his katana right at upper three, piercing right through his chest while the rising suns beams chased behind him.

I watched in shock as Rengoku spoke up slightly, blood dripping out of his mouth while he bleed out. Tanjiro hurried over to him and dropped to his knees, listening to Rengokus words.
