Sanemi pov:

I screwed up. Big time.

But it's for the right cause.

"Why would you say that Shinazugawa-san... thats low even for you." Shinobu had lead me outside to lecture me, which was very rare for her to do. "I thought you were finally letting yourself be close to someone but you just had to hurt her didn't you??" I didn't even know she could talk like this. 'This is new... does she think I don't feel shitty? I feel terrible why the fuck did I go that far...'

"What the hell was I supposed to say??" I snapped at her, not sure what else to do.

"Hmm I don't know, maybe NOT BRING UP HER DEAD FAMILY?? God you're stupid." She shook her head disappointed, which just pissed me off.

"Ironic for you to be talking about 'dead family'."

"..."

'Shit.'

Y/n pov:

I woke up in the kitchen, where I apparently fell asleep. I was just laying on the ground, which was nothing new for me. I slept on the ground quite often honestly. 'What even happened.'

Memories of what Sanemi said last night flooded back into my head. I wasn't sad though. I was pissed. I wasn't about to run back to him and ask him to make up, he knew that. If he cared at all about what we had, he would have to apologize. And id make it hell for him.

"Ah y/n you're awake." Aoi happily walked into the room and sat down next to me. "I need to tell you what Shinobu-san did last night." She had a look of excitement I had never seen before on her face.

"What did she find another breath taking discovery?" I rolled my eyes, not believing Shinobu actually did anything amazing that I wasn't used to. Aoi shook her head and began to explain.

"So, Shinobu-san saw everything you know who said to you right?"

"...ya..."

"Oh come on don't be sad this is good news." She looked and sounded so exited it made me actually start to get curious.

"Ok then tell me." I sat up, now wanting to know what happened.

"Shinobu-san dragged him outside and began to lecture him, but he said something about... her past and she didn't like that. I have never seen her so mad. She usually conceals her emotions you know, but she went off on him. Insulting literally everything about him. Even he was speechless." We were both giggling like idiots at this point, I was still mad, but this was an amazing way to start my day.

"Thank you for sharing this wonderful information with me." I smiled and stood up to go look at the leftovers of whatever we had laying around, Aoi getting up and following me as well.

"Of course, I thought you would be happy to hear that." She leaned against the counter while I mindlessly looked through the fridge.

"So... are you in your 'I hate everything about the wind pillar' phase again?"

I smiled at her, "yes. Except this time it's not a phase."

'And I'm never falling for that idiot again.'

She laughed and shook her head, "I guess we will see if thats true."

"I guess, wait what."

"Nothing. Also Giyuu is assigned to you for the next few days, he's in Shinobus office at the moment." She informed me before walking off to who knows where. I decided after grabbing some snacks to go see Giyuu, cause I did miss him and I needed to inform him about how much I didn't like Sanemi again. 'I should also thank Shinobu.'
