Protection

I woke up in a room of people talking, laying on something comfy. I opened my eyes, and remembered everything that happened before I fell asleep. The events were still lingering in my mind as I sat up and viewed my surroundings.

I saw Sanemi sitting right next to where I was laying, and when I sat up he instantly looked over at me. "It's about time your lazy ass woke up."

I rolled my eyes at him, "you could have easily woken me up yourself tuff guy." I looked around the room realizing it went silent. The master was sitting with his two daughters on either side of him, along with a few hashiras also in the room. Sanemi, of course, Tengen, Obanai, Mitsuri, Giyuu, and Shinobu.

"Shinazugawa, you were quite literally forcing us to not make to much noise to wake her up." Tengen gave him a 'are you serious' look and shook his head.

"Unless you want to be asleep permanently I suggest you shut your mouth." Sanemi snapped back at him, causing Tengen to put his hands in the air.

"Oh no, please don't hurt me I dont want to sleep forever." Tenegen rolled his eyes and Sanemi looked like he was about to murder him.

"I don't care. Master, whats going on here?" I changed my tone the second I addressed the master, reminding the two idiots they weren't in a place to argue. But the thought of what Tengen said Sanemi did made me happy. Just slightly.

"Thank you my child. The concern for your well being has risen significantly, with so many attempted murders we cant risk losing you, due to how much you help the demon slayer corpse out." He got right to the point, and everyone else quieted down and drew their attention to him. I assumed they already knew what he was going to say by how un suspenseful they looked.

"So, due to this y/n, we are going to have random Hashira assigned to watch over you for the for seeable future."

'... um what.'

I repeated what he said in my head a few times, but it honestly didn't seem that bad. The master went on to say how every few days they would continue to rotate, exept Gyomei due to other reasons. I was actually starting to get exited at this though, as I could make new friends and hand out with current ones all day. 'This is a blessing from the lord I just know it.'

Sanemi on the other hand, he didn't look very exited. 'Whats his problem the heck??'

"So, y/n, starting today, you will be protected. Tengen will be in charge of you first, but I want you to remember, this isn't a punishment and you can still do whatever you want." He smiled warmly, and I glanced over at the sound hashira, who didn't look exited. But he didn't look mad either. "The rest of you have already been filled in with the details, so, with that you all are dismissed. Have a wonderful day my children." He stood up and was guided out of the room by the twins, leaving the rest of us.

Obanai spoke as soon as the masters footsteps could no longer be heard, "I never thought this would get so out of hand."

"I know, what kind of person would go this far. It's mental." Sanemi glanced over at me for a second before turning his eyes some where else. It was barely anything, just a moment of him looking, but it somehow made me feel all warm inside. 'I hate and love this feeling so much... focus y/n.'

"Y/n-chan... I really hope nothing happens to you." Mitsuri looked at me with a worried expression, before walking over and sitting on my other side, oposite to Sanemi.

I smiled at her, "Don't worry Mitsuri-san, I cant really die at the moment."

Her expression changed to a confused one before my words sunk in. "Oh ya. I forgot about that.." Her face lit up in embarrassment, and she smiled sheepishly.
