Efficiency

"You guys sure took your sweet time" Sanemi was slumped against the wall, leaning his head back while giving a slightly annoyed look.

"It was your choice to stay here" I put my hands up and shrugged, Mitsuri nodding along with me.

He made a 'tsk' sound and stood up, "You're so annoying"

I smiled and shoved him a little while looking up at him, "Come on you know you love me" He turned his head away so I couldn't see his face and started to walk away.

I smiled to myself knowing why.

"You guys are so sweet" Mitsuri gushed, "I wish I had something like that" I turned to face her, looked her up and down, and shook my head.

"You know you could get any man... speaking of men... when you gonna talk to Obanai about this thing you got for him hm?" Her face instantly turned red as she shook her hands and head quickly.

"NO NO NO I CAN'T ID NEVER I..." She hid her face in her hands while I laughed and poked her.

"You know you wanna, man up lil bro- I mean women up lil sis" She peaked out from behind her hands before violently shaking her head again.

"I can't y/n, what if he doesnt feel the same? What if he hates me? What if he WILL hate me?" She had lowered her hands by now, tears forming in the corner of her eyes.

Whoopsies.

"I didn't mean to make you cry Mitsuri... and you know he loves you right?" She perked up and tilted her head slightly, my gosh she's dull. I still love her though. As always.

"Haven't you seen how he looks at you?? He doesn't look at anyone else like that!! When he's angry, and someone even mentions you, he calms down instantly. Have you not noticed how soft his eyes are when he looks at you??? ARE YOU BLIND??" I was shaking her shoulders at this point, while she continued to shake her head and holding back a smile.

"Hah. So you do know. Don't play with me. If I help you, will you ask him out?" She genuinely looked like she was considering it, but that only lasted a few seconds.

"I can't. I just can't" She looked at the ground and then back up at me, "...if I do want to at some point though... will you help me?"

I looked at her in shock, "Are you even asking that?? Id die to help you, I wanna see you two together so bad you don't understand." I don't see how she don't see the vision. They're literally perfect for each other. If I die before they marry, I'm pulling myself back up from hell to see it.

"Thank you y/n..." She looked happy before realization washed over her face, "Whered shinazugawa go? He was headed in the wrong direction"

"Aahh don't worry about him. He's cooling off, he'll be back soon." I wave a hand dismissively and look to where he disappeared. "Actually I'm gonna go pull him back here myself. He's the one that said we're in a hurry."

"Ok, don't take to long... don't do anything you might regret if you know what I mean"

"I'm going to use that against you some day."

She smiled at me, "I can't wait for then!! Ill wait back inside, it's cold out here" she hugged me before waving and headed back towards the place where the lady was, and disappeared behind the doors.

I sighed and headed in the direction Sanemi went, kinda wishing we just kept going instead of stopping. Mitsuri was right, it is cold out here. Even with my thin haori on, I'm shivering in my timbers.
