Xander's POV
I watched Avery leave my office with her friend, the sound of her heels fading into the distance. Something about her seemed different.
Her physical features reminded me of someone I wasn't really sure off. I will really teach Jeff a lesson.
My phone rang, snapping me back to reality. I answered without checking the caller ID; I already knew who it was.
"Great timing Gio", "I want you research about a girl called Avery Hauler and give me all your findings in details",I ordered. "Yes Sir".
I called to inform you that"We've got him," he said, amidst muffled shouting in the background.
"Good, I'm on my way," I replied, hanging up. I grabbed my coat and keys and sped off.
I arrived at the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city, where Gio waited. We entered together.
The blindfolded man screamed curses. Gio whispered, "He was caught assaulting an innocent child, sir."
I punched him hard, silencing the room. Removing his blindfold, I gripped his chin tightly, making him grunt in pain. I then ripped his shirt and took the knife from the desk and carved lines on his abdomen.
His groans and blood spilled everywhere
I grabbed the pliers and plucked out four of his teeth in the front row. The sound of his scream soothed my ears
Placing the knife on his chest, I twisted it into his heart. His groan made me smile. Leaving the knife in, I grabbed a bottle of alcohol, and doused him. His wails delighted me.
Wiping his filthy blood from my hands, I stared at him coldly. "What should we do with him, sir?" Gio asked as I turned to leave.
"Burn him," I ordered.
The man begged, "No, please have mercy!"
I smirked and turned."Mercy? I don't show mercy. You know who I am, right?" I chuckled.
"I'm the Mafia King."
