Avery's POV
After our home shopping, I slept for a couple of hours, exhausted but exhilarated from our retail therapy session.
I went upstairs and took a hot bath,feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, I slipped into my favorite dress among all that I chose earlier.
Okay, so it was a very cute short, dress that covered up my butt. I loved the fact that it was black.
I had a thing for short dresses. I wasn't really in the mood to style up my hair.
I tossed my hair into a messy bun, I didn't like it touching my skin. I went downstairs downstairs.
The heavenly aroma of sizzling salmon and savory spices enveloped me, making my stomach growl with anticipation.
In the kitchen, I found Linder whipping up different ingredients."What's cooking, good looking?"
I asked, plopping onto the counter with a grin.
Linder spun around, flashing a warm smile. "Salmon rice and sushi, your favorite!"
She eyed me up and down, chuckling. "And you're rocking that dress, girl!"
My eyes widened, and I let out a squeal of delight. Totally ignoring her compliment.
"Sushi? OMG, yes!" I snatched the plate and dug in, flavors dancing on my taste buds. It was absolute bliss.
OMG! Linder you food is so good. You should open up a restaurant. I took another bite.
"Hey, save some for dinner!" Linder laughed, playfully trying to pry the tray from my grasp.
Next thing I knew, I was dashing around the house, sushi tray in hand, Linder chasing me around
"You can't catch me, I'm the sushi bandit!" I shouted, giggling.
Linder chased me, pretending to scold, "You're going to ruin dinner!"
But we both knew it was already ruined - ruined by my insatiable love for sushi!
"I guess we got a little carried away," I admitted,
