Avery's POV
I accidentally bumped into Xander at the door, and he caught me before I fell.
The sensation lingered, and his eyes conveyed an indescribable emotion. His chiseled physique - broad chest, defined abs, and bulging biceps - left me breathless.
After he released me, our gazes locked until Linder's voice broke the spell. I headed to the dining table to set down the sushi.
Everyone savored dinner in silence.
"This food is amazing," Gio murmured.
"Linder's a culinary genius," I agreed.
Linder smiled in appreciation.
Throughout dinner, Xander's eyes met mine, but I quickly looked away each time.
He excused himself to freshen up upstairs. Linder cleared the table and began washing dishes.
I retreated to the living room to watch TV and noticed the delivery package from Tech World.
As I unwrapped it, my jaw dropped. Inside were a MacBook, Air Pods Pro, and the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max!
Ecstatic, I grabbed the box and rushed upstairs. I burst into my room, only to be met with a shocking sight.
Xander, fresh from the shower, with a towel wrapped around his waist and water droplets dripping from his hair onto his flawless body.
Even though I saw him for a split second, I was able to picture his physiche.
His back and ribs were covered in tattoos. And I loved it. I immediately brushed off that dirty thoughts.
I'm seriously very sorry,I said and rushed out not waiting to hear any word from him.
My cheeks were so hot i bet they were red now. I went back to the living room and reset my phone.
