Avery's POV
"I lost all sense of time, and before I knew it, we were drunk.Panic began to set in as the room spun around me.
It was around 10:00 pm. when Linder and I realized we needed to head home, desperate to escape the overwhelming noise and chaos.
Our other team members left, and we decided to walk, stumbling through the dark streets.
"As we walked, our dizziness intensified, like our drinks had been intoxicated.
Fear crept up my spine. Linder whispered in my ear, her voice trembling, 'Those guys are following us; what should we do?'
My heart raced, and I couldn't shake off the drowsiness."One of them grabbed my hand from behind, his grip tight and menacing.
'Hey, pretty, do you need an escort home? You seem drunk.' His breath reeked of cheap cologne and stale beer. I tried to pull away, but he held me firm.
"I turned to look for Linder, but the other guy had already grabbed her, his hands roaming her body. She struggled, her eyes wide with terror.
The first guy started tracing his fingers down my body, ripping my shirt sleeve, exposing my skin to the chilly night air. I screamed, my voice hoarse with fear.
"Linder screamed too, her cries echoing through the deserted dock area. These guys were going to harass us, and no one was around to help.
The guy licked my neckline, his disgusting breath filling my nostrils, making my stomach churn.
"He pinned me against the wall, his body pressed against mine. I felt trapped, helpless.
His hands slid under my shirt, and I froze, paralyzed with fear. I grabbed a nearby metal object and tried to hit him, but he overpowered me, hitting my arm.
I cried out in agony, feeling warm blood seep from my arm.
"Linder's cries grew louder, and I knew she was going through the same ordeal. Silently, I prayed for someone to save us, to end this nightmare.
"Suddenly, the man's grip loosened, and he fell to the ground.
Linder rushed to me, embracing me tightly as we both cried, our bodies shaking with fear and relief.
She had also been harassed, her clothes torn, her skin bruised.
"Somebody touched me, and I flinched in fear, my heart still racing. Then, I met those piercing blue charming eyes again.
Without thinking, I hugged him tightly, crying loudly. He gently patted my head, reassuring me, 'It's okay, everything's alright.'
His calm, gentle voice soothed my frazzled nerves.
"For a moment, I forgot about the horror we endured. I forgot about the pain, the fear, and the helplessness. All I felt was gratitude. Our boss saved us.
