Night covered the city, stars shimmering in the sky, but on a quiet street corner, the sound of chaos broke the calm. Kenji Nakamura-better known as Ken-stood on the roof of a tall building, dressed in her iconic Spider-Man suit. Her sharp eyes scanned the surroundings, always ready to act at a moment's notice. Ever since becoming Spider-Man, Ken's life had changed completely. She wasn't just the protector of the city; she also struggled with the burden of living a double life.
A cry for help echoed from the street below. Without hesitation, Ken leaped into action, using her agility and strength. She landed perfectly in front of a group of startled people. In the middle of the crowd, a woman screamed for help-a man was trying to snatch her bag. Ken wasted no time, approaching the situation quickly.
"Hey, you! Let her go!" Ken's voice rang out with authority.
The thief turned around, shocked, but Ken was already prepared. In a blink, she shot out her web, trapping the man's legs and knocking him to the ground. Swiftly, she returned the bag to the woman, who looked at her with eyes full of gratitude.
"Thank you, Spider-Man!" she said, her voice trembling with emotion.
Ken nodded, though her heart wasn't entirely at ease. She knew that her duties as a hero were never-ending. After ensuring everyone's safety, Ken continued her patrol, seeking out more trouble hiding in the shadows of the city. Little did she know, tonight would be the night everything changed.
After some time patrolling, Ken decided it was time to head home. Her mind was plagued by one thought: how hard it was to maintain this secret identity, especially when she had to return to her normal life as a student.
The next morning, as Ken arrived at school, the atmosphere was different. The halls were filled with the chatter and laughter of students. Ken walked quietly, trying not to draw attention to herself. But as she made her way to class, her eyes landed on Wenny Lee Hyerim-the girl she always found annoying.
Wenny sat in the corner, chatting with her friends and laughing cheerfully. Ken couldn't help but feel slightly affected by the joy she radiated, even though she knew full well how irritating Wenny could be. But everything changed when she accidentally bumped into Wenny while walking through the corridor.
"Ouch!" Wenny cried, stumbling back. "Ken, didn't you see where you were walking?"
Without having time to apologize, Ken hurried away, feeling embarrassed. But Wenny was already offended. Her resentment began to grow, and she was determined not to let Ken get away with it.
"Such a rude person!" she muttered, watching Ken walk away with a mix of frustration and confusion.
And so it began-a small incident that would become the starting point of their complicated relationship. In Wenny's mind, Ken was the enemy she had to deal with. But neither of them knew that, over time, this hatred would transform into something much bigger.
