The next day was supposed to be just another ordinary day, but everything changed when a deep, terrifying roar echoed across the city. A monstrous voice boomed through the streets, shaking buildings as the creature proclaimed:

"I am here to help you all. I can save the earth without excuse!"

The words were unsettling, but what followed was even worse. People, desperate for hope, hesitated to believe the monster’s claim. Their doubt seemed to enrage the creature, and it turned aggressive, its wrath unleashed on the city.

The chaos began quickly—people screamed as the monster crushed buildings, ripping through the streets with violent fury. It tossed cars like they were toys, destroyed homes, and devoured anyone in its path. Panic spread, and soon the entire city was in a state of terror.

Ken's Decision

Ken heard the first crash from the other side of town, the sound of metal bending and glass shattering. She knew immediately what was happening—another monster had emerged, threatening everything and everyone she loved.

Her first instinct was to find Wenny. She couldn’t let anything happen to her or her family.

Racing to Wenny’s house, Ken found her and her mother huddled in the living room, fear etched on their faces as they heard the destruction outside. Without wasting a second, Ken grabbed Wenny by the arm, leading her toward the back of the house.

“Ken, what’s happening?” Wenny asked, her voice trembling. “Is it…?”

Ken nodded grimly. “There’s a monster attacking the city. It’s bad, Wenny. I need to keep you safe.”

Wenny’s eyes widened, but she trusted Ken completely. “What about you?”

Ken pulled Wenny close, her expression determined despite the fear swirling in her chest. “I’ll deal with it. But you stay here, okay? I’ll lock all the doors. You and your mom will be safe in here.”

Wenny shook her head, her eyes pleading. “No, Ken! You can’t go alone. It’s too dangerous.”

Ken placed a hand on Wenny’s cheek, her gaze soft yet firm. “I have to, Wenny. I’ll be back. I promise.”

Reluctantly, Wenny nodded, her heart heavy as she watched Ken lock every door and window, making sure the house was secure before she left.

“I’ll be waiting,” Wenny whispered, her voice barely audible.

Ken gave her one last reassuring smile before turning and heading out into the chaos. As soon as she stepped out, she felt the weight of the responsibility on her shoulders, but there was no time to hesitate. She had to stop this monster, no matter the cost.

The Battle Begins

Ken swung through the streets, her web lines carrying her closer to the source of destruction. Smoke filled the sky, and the streets were littered with debris—overturned cars, fallen streetlights, and the remnants of shattered buildings. She could hear people screaming, the ground shaking with each step the monster took.

When Ken finally reached the creature, she froze for a split second. It was towering, its skin a dark, scaly gray, with sharp claws that seemed to tear through anything it touched. It climbed the side of a tall building, snarling as it ripped chunks of concrete from the structure, sending them crashing down to the streets below.

Without wasting a moment, Ken shot a web toward the creature, wrapping its legs in sticky strands in an attempt to slow it down. The monster roared in frustration, thrashing against the webbing. But Ken knew it would take more than that.

She leaped from one building to another, swinging around the creature as it tried to grab her with its massive claws. Ken used her speed and agility to avoid its attacks, but the monster was relentless, and it wasn’t long before one of its powerful swipes knocked her off balance.

Ken crashed into a nearby wall, the impact sending sharp pain through her body. But she gritted her teeth and stood up, determined to keep fighting.

With renewed focus, Ken launched herself back into the fray, using every trick she had to weaken the monster. She tangled its limbs in webs, blinded it with web shots to the eyes, and even managed to lure it into collapsing part of the building it had been climbing.

But the monster wouldn’t go down easily. It grew more furious with every hit, thrashing wildly and causing even more destruction. Ken’s body ached from the constant attacks, but she couldn’t give up—not when the city, and Wenny, were depending on her.

The Final Blow

Ken knew she had to end this before it got any worse. With her last bit of strength, she swung high above the monster, launching herself down with full force, aiming for its weak spot at the back of its neck. Her fists connected, and with a final, deafening roar, the monster collapsed.

The battle was over. Ken had won.

But as the adrenaline faded, she felt the sharp sting of pain everywhere. She looked down to see blood dripping from deep gashes on her arms, her legs bruised and scraped from the fight. Her face was cut, blood trickling down from a wound on her cheek.

She had given everything she had to stop the monster, but the toll on her body was undeniable. Ken tried to stand, but her legs wobbled beneath her, and she collapsed onto the ground, breathing heavily.

Aftermath

Wenny, having heard the commotion die down, rushed out of the house despite her fear. Her heart pounded as she searched for Ken, desperate to know if she was okay.

When she found her, lying battered and bleeding in the rubble, Wenny’s heart broke. She ran to Ken’s side, dropping to her knees beside her.

“Ken! Ken, please wake up,” Wenny cried, her voice trembling with panic. She gently cradled Ken’s face in her hands, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Ken’s eyes fluttered open, her gaze meeting Wenny’s. “I’m… okay,” Ken whispered, though the pain in her voice was clear.

“No, you’re not,” Wenny sobbed, pressing her forehead against Ken’s. “You’re hurt so badly. Why did you have to do this alone?”

Ken smiled weakly, her hand reaching up to brush away Wenny’s tears. “Because… I promised I’d keep you safe. And I always keep my promises.”

Wenny’s chest tightened, her heart aching for the girl she loved. “You did. You saved all of us. But now… we need to save you.”

Sirens wailed in the distance as help finally arrived, but Wenny stayed by Ken’s side, refusing to leave her as medics rushed to tend to her injuries.

Ken had won the battle, but it had come at a heavy price.
