(Ryan, Gary, Maisey)

Ryan walks through the front gate of the school.

Gary: What on earth are you playing at? Do you really think you're gonna accomplish anything?

Ryan: It gets them away from that pathetic skank doesn't it?

Gary: And what's that meant to mean?

Ryan: If she's too tight to give her own kid a bit of spends why should she be taking care of five of us?

Maisey: Oi! Mum spent fifteen years raising you, and all this over a fiver? If you're looking for someone pathetic, look in a mirror.

Gary: Please tell me that's a joke, all this over a fiver? You're bloody daft.

Ryan: It's alright if you've got long pockets, you can get whatever you want! Do you know how much Frankie charges us for a vape since I whacked her brother?

Gary: Does your mam know you're going about scrapping year 9's?

Ryan: Why does that matter? She can't afford me, then she can't get to know everything I do.

Gary: Because she cares. You might not see it now, but that's your mum. I'd do anything to see mine again.

Ryan: Whatever.

Ryan storms off.

Gary: Ryan! Mate! What you doing? Right, Maisey, get back in the car. When he comes back out, we tail him.

Maisey and Gary go back into the car.
