Christian sat at his desk, twirling a pen between his fingers, completely distracted. His thoughts kept drifting back to Vrix, specifically to ‘that’ conversation they had. The tension, the lingering looks... It was getting to him, and he knew he couldn’t ignore it anymore.Napasandal si Christian at halatang gulong gulo. Finally, Christian sighed. ‘Should I ask Ate Pat?’ he wondered pero ano bang alam ni Perlas dito? He started typing a message to Perlas, but before he could even hit send, Perlas—Ate Pat—appeared, as if summoned by his thoughts.
Perlas smirked, leaning against the door, arms crossed.
Christian froze, trying to play it cool. “Just... work stuff," he lied, quickly looking away.
Perlas raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. "Work stuff? “Baka naman love stuff?" she teased, wagging her finger at him. “Come on, spill it! Ano yan, may kinalaman ba yan kay... you know who?” Lumapit si Perlas. “Alam mo ikaw ang bilis mo ah!” pang-aasar pa niya.
Christian groaned, knowing there was no escaping her teasing now.
Perlas laughed, walking closer and sitting across from him. "Oh, bakit? Alam ko na ‘yan, something's up! Huwag ka nang mahiya, I’m your ‘Ate Pat’! I won't judge... much." She gave him a wink, which only made him want to crawl under his desk and disappear.
Christian shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Fine...” he said defeatedly. Wala naman siyang kawala eh. “Pero promise you won't make fun of me too much, ha?"
"Depends. But sige, promise na. Ano na?" she leaned in, obviously loving the drama.
She really loves drama.
He took a deep breath. "I’ve just been thinking...” “Paano ba 'to sabihin... about being... ready. Like physically ready," Christian muttered, barely audible.
Perlas blinked, she processed everything her friend said and then burst out laughing. “What?!” She clutched her stomach, tears forming in her eyes. “Sid, seryoso ka? You're thinking of buying... ‘that’ stuff?”
Christian's face went beet red. "Ate Pat, grabe ka! Tigil na, seryoso ako!"
Perlas wiped away her tears of laughter but continued to chuckle. "Okay, okay! Pero, Sid, come on! So... ano? Lube and... ano pa?" She smirked, enjoying how flustered he was.
Napairap na lamang si Christian. ‘Kunwari hindi pa alam.’ Christian groaned, feeling the heat in his cheeks. "Uh... yeah, maybe... and, you know... something that’s, uh... the same size. Like kay... Vrix," he mumbled, covering his face with his hands.
