Chapter 2

"Hey, Mikes" Frank said as soon I walk into my house
"Hey, where's Ray?" I asked him
"I don't know. He said he is on his way" I nodded my head and walk to my bedroom, band practice. I really not in mood to practice, I mean, I love playing bass but I'm just not in mood to play, okay? My mind go to her again, the redhead. She had the same hair as Gee, and that glasses make her look smart. "Mikey!" Gee's voice yelled my name, tell me that Ray finally arrived and we have to practice.

"Oh come on, Mikey. You can play this song better than that" Ray said and put an arm around my shoulder. I always hit the wrong note on everything. Like, what happened to me?
"What happened, brother?" Gerard said and put back his mic. I shook my head and give him a weak smile. "Well, I think we can practice tomorrow" Gerard said and the rest of the band nodded their heads.

After all of the guys left, Gerard sit on the couch next to me "So, what happened, little brother?" He asked and I still shook my head
"I'm fine, Gee. Really. I'm just thinking" I said
"About what?"
"I don't even know. So many things I've been thinking of, and I can't even remember one of them" I said truthfully. Really, I feel like over thinking but I don't know what I've been thinking of. You know that feel, right?
"You need to sleep, Mikey" Gerard said and patted my back then leave to his bedroom.
"Oh, and Lynz will come over tomorrow night, if you don't mind to, you know" he yelled
"Yeah, it's okay!" I yelled back. He want me to stay at whoever place while him and Lynz fuck each other. He said he didn't feel comfortable to have sex with a girl while someone else is in the house. Yeah, believe me I know that awkward feeling to having your brother in the same house while fuck a girl.

Next afternoon

I woke up and have a quick shower. I walk to living room and see Gerard and Lynz sucking on each other face "Well, at least wait for me to leave" I said and they breaking their kiss "I thought she will come at around 3 or 4" I said and drink a glass of water "It's already 4, Mikes" Lynz said and walk to me to give me a hug "Long time no see, how are you?" She asked and I give her a smile. "Fine, like usual. Okay you two can fuck each other all night. And wear protection." I said and leave.

I go to the same coffee shop like yesterday and order the same coffee like yesterday. I sit on the same place and enjoy my coffee. This city getting empty and empty each day, or it just my feeling? This coffee shop is empty, like really empty, even the cashier is not there. Just me. All alone. And then I hear the bell rang. A girl. A redhead girl come inside. The same redhead girl as yesterday. The cute redhead. But now, she's crying and looking around like looking for someone. And then her eyes meet mine. She walk right to me and I realized she had a knife on her hand. Suddenly, I feel afraid. She want to kill me?

"Please.........kill me now. Please." She said and took my hand to put her knife on it. "But--" I don't know what to said, I mean, why? "Why?" I asked. She shook her head and still hold my hand
"Just, do it" she said and let go of my hand. And now I hold the knife.
"Please" she whisper, still crying.
"No" I said and put the knife away.
"Don't take a permanent solution for your temporary emotions" I said and pull her into a hug. Like wow, I hug her. She push me away and run.
I left my half empty coffee and her knife to run after her.
"Wait!" I yelled and still run. This girl really know how to run. I catch her. I grabbed her wrist but then she push me away again. "No! Really, wait!" I yelled and she still running away.

Finally she stopped! Finally! She sit behind a big tree and still crying. I watch her shoulders shaking and she scream on the top of her lungs. "Why am I so stupid?" She said. I walk closer to her and hear her voice once again "I shouldn't told someone to kill me. I mean, why I didn't do it by myself?" She whisper and crying again. I wrapped my hand around her little body
"It's fine. It's fine, let it go" I whisper and kiss her head. She push me away like usual. "Sorry. I-I will go. I'm sorry." I catch her wrist. "I'm not going to let you go, again" I said and she seems so shocked.
"I-I need to go." She said
"I can walk with you" she seems doubt a little bit and then she nodded her head.
"You really need to go. My mom won't let me bring a boy to the house. And she's.....you really don't want to see her. Really. You need to go" she said and look around. I let a little laugh and put an arm around her shoulder. She put back my arm and smile awkwardly
"Do you mind to, uhm don't touch me?" She asked and look at the ground
"Okay. Sorry." I said and walk with her again
"But really. You need to go" she said and push me a little
"At least, can I know your name?" I asked and she look around again.
"I'm Valerie, you should go" she said and run away.
