Chapter 6

We stayed at Ray's for tonight. Thank God, his house have 3 rooms. He will share with me and Frank with Gerard. I can't sleep at all, I go out from the room and go outside to have some fresh air. I go to the backyard and found someone's crying. Someone who have a bright and long red hair, of course that's not Gerard. That's Valerie. I step closer just want to hold her, but then I heard her said "I shouldn't runaway. What if they found Mikey? They will probably kill him. What the fuck did I do?" And continue to cry. She really like to talk to herself while crying "I can't lose him, or anyone again." She stand up and looks like she wipe away her tears "I should go back to my family" She said and turn around just to face me. "Hey" I said almost whispering "Uh... How long you stand here?" She asked and I shook my head "I don't know, but I heard a lot" I said and pull her into a hug "You can't go back" I said and stroke her hair, she shook her head against my chest "What if they found you?"
"They won't found us, you will be safe, I promise you" she pull away and I look into her eyes, look like she keep all the pain for herself, she never share it to anyone, and I am the first person that she trusted, I should fulfill my promise, I must and I will fulfill my promise to her.

"Mikey?"
"Yes?" She get closer to my face and close her eyes, at first place I thought she would kiss me but she just whisper "Thanks" and kiss my cheek. Oh damn. I wonder how her lips taste like. I shook my head to wipe away all of my dirty mind.
"Uh.... Why you look at me like that?" She asked, take me back to reality "N-Nothing. I just...it's you just......" I can't found a word
"I what?" I make her wrapped her hands around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist, she stand on her tiptoe to reach my height "You're just really hot, I can't handle it" I said nearly to whisper. She giggled and I can saw her cheeks getting red. Good sign, huh? I lean closer to her face and she close her eyes "Can I?" I asked, remember that she was raped by her own brother twice, I won't make her uncomfortable with my actions. She open her eyes and cupped my cheek "Fuck, Mikey" she said and kiss me like really hard. Wow, she really know how to kiss.

We pull away until we need some air for our lungs, I never kissed a girl in years. I almost forgot how good it taste. I rest my forehead on hers and we smile at each other like an idiot. "You really know how to kiss a guy" I said and kiss her lips one more time "And you're good at politely, Mr. Way" When I'm about to give her the third kiss, she stop me by put her finger on my lips. "Let's just go to bed" she said. Right, bed. No Mikey, no. Not now. Or just no. Control yourself, Mikey.

We entered her room and I just stood in front of the door "Are you coming or what?" She asked and put her hands on her hips "Yeah" I said and close the door behind. "Did you mind if I take my pants off?" She asked, I swear my face as red as tomato. Fuck it. And then I hear her soft laugh, my favourite sound in this earth "No no, I'm just kidding. Go away, dirty minded" she said and messed up with my hair,in hope with that way, all of this dirty mind will be gone. Genius. She lay down next to me, this time, she didn't make a gap between us. She cuddle up to me and I wrapped my hand around her body. "Hey Mikey, what if your girlfriend just strom inside this room and watch you cuddle with me?" She asked
"I don't have girlfriend, don't worry, you will not have any of drama"
"What about an ex?" I still in silence, remember about my last ex that hurt me so fucking bad. "I hate her" I said, maybe she can tell that I don't want to talk about my ex so she just stay in silence until she whisper something like "Sorry" I kiss her cheek to told her that nothing to be sorry.

"Um... Val? What did you mean you don't want to make anyone hurt again? I mean, again?" I asked
"Yes, again." She turn her body so she face me "May I know who is that?"
"A friend. He was helped me, but my family found him and they did a bad thing to him. And I don't want you to ended up like him. That's all." She said and turn around again, I facing her back. I pull her close to me and cuddle up with her again, I play with her hair until she fall asleep. I still can't sleep, but I can tell that she already fall asleep because she didn't make any sound.

It's funny when I remember the first time I've seen her face, I thought she's cute and I wish I could meet her again. And then I meet her again, and she told me to kill herself. It's funny how a day can change my whole feeling. Funny to think, now her heartbeat is my favourite song and her laugh is my favourite sound. Her eyes is my favourite place to get lost and her hand is my favourite to hold on. Long story short, she's my favourite now. "I love you" I whisper to her ears and kiss her cheek. She move even closer to me and make me smile to myself. I close my eyes and ready to fall asleep, and dreaming about this girl.
