Third person's pov

Andrea sought out Alexandria. She wasn't in her bedroom and then she looked in the library and found her there reading a book. Alexandria was smiling to herself as she turned the page of her book. Andrea cleared her throat to get Alexandria's attention.

"Andrea, what brings you here?" Alexandria asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. She seemed happier today which meant she was back to her old sweet self.

"Are we good? I mean I'm asking because you have been acting strangely towards me ever since the boys returned from Russia. Did I do something?" Andrea asked with genuine concern.

"The anger wasn't  necessarily towards you, I was just a little mad at Alex. Look it doesn't matter anymore I've realised that it's not your fault and that people change with time. I may have been a little jealous upon seeing the lengths our brothers were willing to go to for you but dad and I talked about it and I understand now. The boys feel obligated to protect you with everything they have because of how your um past was and there is nothing wrong with that, I mean that is what brothers are for right," Ria says in a gentle tone. She was telling the truth, she was struggling a bit with the changes that were happening with her family and she has made peace with it.

"Well I'm glad to hear that we are okay. The main reason I came looking for you was because I wanted to inform you of a decision I've made. I think you should be the first one to know. I have agreed to marry Sebastian and I know it's all got to be a little weird for you since you were initially the bride and now it's me but I really hope that it doesn't bother you that much?"
Andrea's expression remained neutral, but her voice hinted at caution. Andrea's words spilled out like a confession.

The air seemed to stagnate. Alexandria's face froze.
"Marry Sebastian?" Alexandria repeated, her voice barely audible.
" Don't worry Andrea I fully support your decision. You had to do it, there was no way around it. You're doing the right thing Sorella, it is what's best for everyone." Alexandria says with a smile. The smile didn't even last two second because it was very difficult for Alexandria to keep up the facade.

Andrea nodded, and then excused herself. Andrea walked out with her heart feeling a little less heavy because she was nervous as she thought that Alexandria might not like the idea and this may hurt her if she had  caught feelings for Sebastian. Ria had cleared all of Andrea's doubts.

As Alessio watched Alexandria's retreating back, he  was confused. He couldn't make out what they were both talking about because he was watching from afar. As Allessio,  stepped closer and  stood nearby, he could see the pain that lay  hidden in Alexandria's eyes. Alexandria's eyes were already brimming with tears but when she saw Alessio standing in the corner she couldn't help but break down as her knees began to get wobbly.

Alexandria's pov

"Allessio," I  whispered, tears streaming down my face. The facade crumbled as I stood there, shattered by the reality of loss, my world imploded. My lungs felt like they were burning, every breath a searing reminder of what I'd never have. The weight of my grief crushed me, making every step feel like drowning in quicksand.  I had lost him, Sebas.

Allessio's concern deepened. "piccolo, what's wrong? Why are you crying like this?
Did the both of you get into an argument?"

"It's Andrea and Sebastian... , Allessio,it's happening, it's really happening." My voice shattered like glass as I spoke. They do say first heartbreak is the worst, I think it hurts more when your elder sister and the man I love are  causing it.

"Why did it have to be him? Ale, they are.... They are getting married. "  I said in a shaky voice as I continued to cry.

"You know  how long I've been in love with him. I had hoped that  one day It would be me walking down the aisle to him. But it was all in vain. The arranged marriage, the contract itself... it's all just a cruel joke. A reminder that I'm not good enough, that I'll never be the one he loves."

Allessio held me closer, his heart was also aching from seeing me cry.
"Alexandria, don't say that" Allesio said as he held me closer to his chest. Tears soaked Allessio's shoulder as my anguish poured.

"No, Allessio! You don't understand! I've lived in Andrea's shadow my entire life. Always the girl they had after Aurora, she was the daughter they wanted and she was the one they worked so hard to bring to life. Ale they weren't even trying to have another girl  I've always been her replacement, never the one desired. He was always hers from the beginning, the true italian mafia princess"

"Hush now I'm here. It's going to be fine, your aching heart will heal picollo, it has to." He said as he tried to comfort me while tightening his arms around me.The library fell silent, except for the heartbreaking sobs that filled the room coming from me

" It's okay Ale I will be okay. I will smile and pretend like I always do," I say as I look at Alessio with my puffy red eyes once I've calmed down.
