As we stood in the lawn to discuss. My wind wandered

Why was he calm after the problem i created for him!!?

Why do I find him soo attractive!!?

Love is a myth, a weakness

My childhood taught me that. The broken family The girl who never received father's love. I had built a wall around my heart all this year

Yet Aayansh's presence unsettled me

"I need to make something clear,"I said meeting his gaze

"Go on," he replied, his eyes fixed on me.

"I'm not interested in this marriage," I stated bluntly. "I don't want to be tied down to anyone."

Aayansh's expression remained neutral. "I understand," he said. "But I'm afraid it's not that simple."

"Why not?" I demanded.

"Family obligations," he replied.
"My family expects this union. I cannot disappoint them."

I scoffed. "You're willing to sacrifice your own happiness for family expectations?"

Aayansh's eyes narrowed. "It's not about happiness, Saanvi. It's about duty."

I rolled my eyes. "Duty? You're a ruthless mafia king, Mr Rathore. Don't pretend to be something you're not."

Aayansh's gaze intensified. "Perhaps I'm more than just a mafia king," he said softly

I laughed a cold sound "Don't make me laugh,"

Aayansh stepped closer, hi face low. "Saanvi, what are you afraid of!?

I recoiled, my heart racing" I'm not afraid of anything "

"Really,!!? Aayansh's eyes searched mine." Then why are you pushing off marriage

I glared at him " back of Mr Rathore, I do not want it

Aayansh's expression softened "I understand but once think about it," he said

" I get what I want" he said with smirk

"I ignored him and closed my eyes it reflected on my difficult childhood, remembering my mom, and decided to marry for her sake not wanting to make her sad again.

I told him," I'm willing to marry you for sake of my family but don't expect more.

He said that's a lot for him,"

Sometimes, his behavior leaves me puzzled and unsure of his character."

"I'll do it for my family."

Her agreement to marry me had come as a relief.

But at what cost?

She didn't want me.
I felt a pang in my chest.

A mixture of emotions.

And something else.
Something I couldn't quite place.

Why did I care?

Why did I want her to want me? I am also marrying her for my family's sake!!

But something drags me towards her

I pushed the thoughts away.
Focused on the practicalities.

Our marriage would secure our families' alliances.

But the nagging feeling persisted.

I couldn't shake off the sense that I was settling.

For a loveless marriage.

The news of Aayansh and Saanvi agreeing to marriage sent shockwaves through their families, sparking a mix of emotions.

Saanvi's brother, Anish, grinned. "Dude, this is awesome! And hugged his sister

" I said you Aayansh you will lose infront of my sister beauty"Anish said Aayansh having victory smiling on his face

Their mom, beamed with pride. "Our families have been friends for years. This union will strengthen our bond."

Aayansh's dad, nodded in approval. "We've arranged this marriage to secure our children's future. It's a good match."

Both families shared similar sentiments.

His mom, Aaradhya welcomed Saanvi with a warm hug. "You're a lovely girl. We're glad you both are marrying each other."

But Aayansh's sister, Akshara, sensed his unease. "Bhai, you okay?

Aayansh shrugged. "Yeah, Akshu, all good.

Akshara's eyes narrowed. "You're really going through this!?

Aayansh nodded

Meanwhile, Saanvi's brother, Anish asked "Are u sure princess!?

Saanvi sighed, " yes bhai "

Both families celebrated as Aayansh and Saanvi exchanged looks, both wondering what lay ahead

Would their marriage turn it love or regret
