Today had been a whirlwind. I was already packed with meetings, reports, and emails that I couldn’t afford to miss and especially mafia things
. But in the middle of my work, I got a message that made me drop everything.
"Dadaji is coming home this evening.
I read mom’s text twice, a wave of excitement rushing over me. I’d heard so much about his grandfather, the backbone of their family, the one everyone looked up to. He hadn’t been able to attend the wedding due to health reasons, and I knew how much it had disappointed him not to be there.
So, the chance to finally meet him, to see the man who’d shaped Aayansh’s world, made my heart race.
Without a second thought, I wrapped up my work and informed my team that I’d be stepping out early. There would be plenty of time to handle everything else later, but for now, family came first.

By the time I reached the mansion, the entire family was buzzing with excitement. As I walked through the door, I was greeted by Harshit’s voice.
“Bhabhi, you’re back already!” he called, grinning as he waved me over. “Looks like Dadaji’s arrival has everyone leaving work early.”
Akshara rushed over, grabbing my hand as she practically dragged me into the living room. “Saanvi! You don’t know how thrilled Dadaji is. He’s been asking about you nonstop.”
“Has he?” I asked, laughing, though a wave of nerves washed over me. I wanted to make a good impression, and meeting him for the first time felt like a big moment.
As I settled onto the couch, chachi walked over, giving me a soft smile as she sat beside me. “You made it here fast,” she murmured
“Well, I had to,” I replied, squeezing his hand in return. “How’s he feeling? Is he really up for all this excitement?”
Chachi chuckled “Trust me, he’s ready. He’s been waiting for this moment for weeks.”
