★AUTHOR POV★

Saanvi 's meeting was interrupted by her phone buzzing on the conference table. Aayansh's name flashed on screen, and she hesitated knowing that she couldn't avoid him

Hello!? Her voice was curt, distracted

"Saanvi, it's Aayansh,'" he said , smooth deep voice

"What do you want!? She asked, her tone dripping with arrogance

"Today's dinner at my home" Aayansh said ignoring her tone

" I already know that, If u called for this reason then I am hanging up, I cannot hold my meeting for u" Saanvi said frustrated

"Wait wait, I called to say that , let's go shopping to buy some wedding thing!! He said

"Sorry, Mr Rathore I Have works to complete " she said even though her heart is willing to go

" I am not asking Saanvi, I am telling you, Be ready at 6 pm. I will pick you from your company itself", He ordered

"U cannot order me around" Saanvi exclaimed in anger and cut the call before he could answer it

6 pm

She was still in her work and suddenly the door of her cabin opened

Sanvi's eyes widened as she looked up from her laptop screen, her mind still processing the reports in front of her. She was taken aback by the sudden intrusion into her cabin. No one dared to enter without her explicit permission, and yet, there he stood.

Aayansh Singh Rathore.

The man she was supposed to ignore yet makes her comfortable with him

Her eyes narrowed, and her voice turned icy. "What are you doing here, Mr Rathore?"

Aayansh leaned against the doorframe, a smirk playing on his lips. "You did not come so. I thought I'd come directly to your cabin and pick up."

But Aayansh hates when Saanvi call him Mr Rathore

Sanvi's expression didn't change. "I'm busy. As you can see."

Aayansh's gaze swept across her cluttered desk. "Important work, I presume?"

Sanvi's hands clenched into fists. How dare he question her work ethic? "Yes. It is."

The tension between them was palpable. Sanvi's eyes flashed with annoyance, but Aayansh seemed unfazed.

"I thought we agreed to put on a united front for our families," Aayansh said, his tone even. "Shopping , remember?"

Sanvi's jaw clenched. "I don't have time for this."

Aayansh pushed off from the doorframe and strode toward her desk. "Make time, Sanvi. Our families expect it."

Sanvi's eyes locked onto his, a spark of defiance igniting within her. She didn't appreciate his high-handedness.

"What's the real reason you're here, Aayansh?" she asked, her voice low and even.

Aayansh's smile faltered for a moment before he regained his composure. "Just ensuring we're on the same page, Sanvi."

Sanvi raised an eyebrow, skeptical. There was more to it, but she wouldn't press the issue... yet.

"Fine. Wait here I will come in a minute," she said curtly, going to her room which was in her cabin.

Aayansh's eyes lingered on hers before he nodded

In her room, Sanvi quickly changed into black dress and washed her face keeping it natural
