Treating the wolf took way longer than treating the witch. So long, that they have opened their eyes by now. At first, everything looks very strange to them and they can´t make out where they are or who they are with. But as they recognise the girl, they jump up before hitting the ground again. The girl rushes to him and tries to help him up, but the witch pushes her off, despite being dizzy.
"Who the fuck are you?"
he sort of yells. The girl seems to be signing something, but neither the wolf, nor the witch can understand it. But the witch doesn´t need to. He notices that the wound, on the wolf, has been treated and that he is feeling better, than before he passed out. "Sorry for yelling."
The girl smiles at him.
"You can´t talk, huh?",
she nods. He stares at her for a few seconds, before speaking once again.
"Thank you for helping us.., uhm, whoever you are."
She helps him get up. With a little bow, as if to say "You´re welcome", she takes all her belongings and gives them a last wave, before disappearing in the bushes again.
"Wait!"
They both rush after her to find.., ruins? And the girl also is nowhere to be seen. The witch has no clue, but this wasn´t here before. The city looked much bigger and less broken. And there were definitely people walking here. They both look around in confusion. Everything looks really old and like it has been destructed for ages. There are dead bushes and moss growing, mostly everywhere. But one spot doesn´t seem as lifeless as the rest. It´s a spot with dark grass and many flowers. As they come closer, it appears to be a grave, with a tiny stone. Neither of them can read the name, written on there, but a little picture, seems to be stuck to the stone. As they take a closer look, both of them freeze. The picture shows a little girl. When they saw her, she seemed to be a little older, but that definitely is the girl that helped them earlier. They keep staring at the picture and try to figure out, how that can be possible. But neither of them seem to be able to understand this. After they have cooled down, from that shock, they decide to move on. Not before the witch leaving a little note, thanking the girl, at the grave tho.
