Faint voices can be heard, in the room. Sag slowly opens their tired eyes. He looks around and finds Trevor standing at the big window, talking to Rufus, standing on the other side. To his surprise, a blanket falls down, from him. Though, he doesn´t remember covering himself with that.
"Oh! Finally, you´re awake. How was your rest?"
Sag looks at Trevor and then into the direction of the bathroom. His attention goes back to the man, who is patiently waiting for an answer. The witch gives him a smile
"Good."
What an obvious lie. But Trevor decides to leave it be. If they don't want to talk about it, then he won´t force them.
"Imma make you breakfast."
"Ah, no, you don-"
"You´re a guest and you´ve helped me with my stuff. I will make you breafast and you will eat it and like it."
Sag scratches their head. He´s not really in the mood for food. He´d much rather just go to sleep again. Into the world of dreams, where he can pretend everything to be okay and see him again. But not many seconds, after thinking about that decision, a plate with warm waffles makes its way onto the table, in front of him.
"That was fast."
"No. You just stared a hole into the air, for the last thirty minutes. I even called out your name, two times, but you seemed zooned out. Are you alright?" "Yeah, yeah. I´m fine. I just need to drink another potion."
Trevor grabs a bottle out of Sag´s bag and hands it to him.
"Thank you."
The witch drinks it and then starts eating the waffles. But he still seems somewhere else, with his mind. Rufus lets out a little growl.
"Oh, yeah. Don´t worry, I´ll bring you your food, in a second."
Trevor goes back into the kitchen and then leaves the house after having packed something, probably food, into a bag. A few seconds later, his voice can be heard in the beasts room. Sag finishes up his plate and puts on the rest of the clothes. Then, he cleans the plate in the kitche, like a good guest would do it, and packs his own stuff. Trevor came back in, in the middle of it, and said he would need to leave again, for some minutes. The witch finishes what he´s doing and then goes to the opened window, of the beasts room. Rufus sticks his head into the room. Sag gives him a little pet. "Hey, I´ve been thinking about something. Would you like to stay here?"
The beast looks at him, with confusion.
"You know, you would have it good here. Trevor seems like a good guy. You might need to help him with transporting his things, tho."
he lets out a small chuckle and then pauses for a moment.
"But I really think, it would be better for you, to stay here. Not many places accept creatures like you. And if you keep following me, you might end up dead, sooner or later."
Rufus licks the witch´s face, to which the small person lets out a sigh.
"Alright....but don´t tell me I didn´t warn you, when you end up in hell."
