Sag pushes Trevor to the side, who got lost in his mind.
"I said move it, or do you wanna get hit by a tree?"
"I.."
The witch nudges the falling stem a little, so that it falls into the wanted direction. With a big thud, the bridge is built. Sag picks up the bag again,
"There, now we´ll cross it."
As the witch is about to set foot onto the laying tree, Rufus picks him up and puts him on his back. "Oh.., thank you."
Together, they cross the bridge. "Hey! Why do I have to walk?" Trevor runs after the two. Some people seemed to already have been waiting for them, seeing as they are gathered around the ending of the tree.
"What is the meaning of this?"
a man, with a brown beard and not so friendly face, steps forward, from the crowd.
"I-I can explain.."
Trevor steps next to Sag, who is climbing down the wolf´s back. "Trevor, who the hell are these two?"
"Just a man and his pet. They helped me with my luggage. My carriage broke and they are helping me to bring these things to my house."
"And the tree?"
"That´s his fault."
Sag points at Trevor, while holding his scarf to his face.
"He got lost and because he didn't know how to cross the frozen lake, I've built a bridge." The man, from the crowd, sighs. "You´re lucky you didn´t break anything."
The grumpy man speaks.
"Other than the tree,"
the witch whispers.
"What?"
"Nothing! I will bring these two to my house now and then pay for this. Sorry for the troubles," Trevor laughs awkwardly. The crowd slowly dissolves and Trevor pushes the small person on the road.
"You are so reckless. You both will stay at my place, for tonight. I don´t like the thought of you running around, here, all by yourself."
