On the edge of the city, the wolf stops. At first the witch didn´t take notice of that and kept walking, but when the big shadow, walking next to them, left, he immediately turned around.
"What is it?"
The wolf sits down.
"You wanna stay? Alright, suit yourself,"
he turns around,
"But know that not all ghosts are good. And that there is barely any food there or in the forest." And with that, he continues walking. His eyes are closed and he is quietly counting. At five the wolf hesitantly gets up and follows them again. A chuckle escapes the little person.
"Knew it. But in all seriousness, tho, if you don´t wanna follow me, that´s okay. You don´t have to. I just wouldn´t want you to find out, why this city got destroyed or have you starving. I don´t want anything in return but it would quite bother me, knowing that all my attempts to help you, were wasted like that. If you want, you can leave when we are somewhere with more food and less ghosts."
Judging by the expression on the wolf, he did not like that joke. "Sorry.."
