The next morning, Meera woke up to find the bed empty.
She sat up, her head spinning as the memories of last night rushed back.
"What the hell is wrong with you, Meera?!" she muttered to herself, frustration clear in her voice.
She buried her face in her hands. "You shouldn't have done that."
Her phone buzzed with notifications. Two messages popped up.
Sidharth : Morning. I had a meeting so I left early. Don't overthink it.
Meera let out a small sigh of relief. At least he didn't make a big deal out of it.

"How did I get here?" she whispered, pressing her face into her pillow, her emotions overwhelming her.
Her phone buzzed again, pulling her from her thoughts.
Saanvi: Heyyy, I need you ASAP at my room! You coming?
Right. The wedding.
For a moment, Meera had completely forgotten. How was she supposed to face everyone today? Especially Sidharth?
Meera: Of course! I'll be there soon. Just need to get ready.
Dragging herself out of bed, she quickly showered, trying to shake off the awkwardness of the night before.
As she stared at her reflection in the mirror, she barely recognized the woman looking back.
"Pull yourself together," she muttered, but her thoughts were still a jumbled mess.
Time: 11:30 am
Thirty minutes later, Meera slipped into a simple outfit, but with enough elegance for the gathering.
Her outfit:
