"Beta eat something and go" Meera's dadi shouted.

"No dadi I'm already late," Meera called back, her voice tinged with urgency. She hurriedly slipped into her favorite pair of heels, the ones that made her feel confident and powerful.

With one last glance in the mirror to ensure her appearance was impeccable, she dashed out of the door, her heart pounding with excitement and nervousness.

As Meera stepped out onto the bustling streets of the city, she couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.

At 24, she was already making a name for herself in the world of fashion. Ever since she was a little girl, Meera had dreamt of becoming a fashion designer.

And now, after years of hard work and dedication, her dreams were finally coming true.

Last year, she had taken a leap of faith and launched her own online boutique, showcasing her unique designs to the world. The response had been super great.

Encouraged by her success, Meera had decided to take her business to the next level by opening her own boutique.

All this time she did everything with the help of her sister and bestfriend in the garage of the house.

Today she had a meeting with potential investors. She knew that this meeting could determine the future of her business, and she was determined to make a good impression.

She had to work a lot to convince her parents to allow her for this. They just weren't great. They had doubted her at each step.

As she made her way to the meeting, Meera couldn't shake the feeling of nervousness that gnawed at her stomach.

What if the investors didn't like her ideas? What if they didn't see the potential in her business? But then she reminded herself of all that she had accomplished so far – the late nights spent sketching designs, the countless hours spent perfecting her craft, the sacrifices she had made along the way.

This was it – her chance to impress the investors and secure the funding she needed to bring her dream boutique to life.

But as she stepped into the conference room and saw the stern faces of the investors seated around the table, her excitement quickly turned to apprehension.

These were serious businesspeople, accustomed to dealing with seasoned professionals. Meera couldn't help but feel a twinge of doubt – did she belong here?

She pushed aside her doubts and launched into her presentation, her voice steady and confident as she outlined her vision for the boutique.

But as she spoke, she couldn't shake the feeling that the investors weren't impressed.

As the meeting drew to a close, Meera's hopes began to fade. It was clear that she hadn't won over the investors with her presentation.

She for obvious reasons was upset because of it nevertheless she had hope as there were other investors too who were willing to have a meeting.

She knew that this was just the first of many meetings there were still plenty of opportunities out there.

She walked out of the cafe with her head down.

Meera's POV
"It's okay Meera we have more chances" I assured myself and wiped my tears. I was really tired of rejections. I decided to run till my house. It was hardly ½hr away. Running made me relaxed for some reason.

The signal was yellow. But as soon I came in the middle it turned green making me panic. I had already ran half way through. I thought I could quickly run but no..

Author's POV

Just as she rounded a corner, a sleek black car screeched to a halt inches from her. Startled, Meera stumbled back, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Aapko gaadi chalani aati nhi hai kya?"
