"Sidharth, this is serious. I'm not going to beg."

Sidharth held up his hands in mock surrender. "Okay, okay. No one's saying about begging. Tumhare business ka proposal dekhoonga, agar pasand aaya toh invest karunga. This is all professional..i do not joke about my work" He said seriously.

Meera sighed with relief. "Thank you."

Sidharth grinned. "Waise, investment ke terms ke liye dinner pe baat kar sakte hain. Tumhe treat karne ka bahana bhi mil jaayega." He said coming back to his original self.

Meera rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her lips. "Fine. Dinner it is. But no funny business."

Sidharth placed a hand over his heart dramatically. "I promise, no funny business. Just pure professional talk."

As the day progressed, Meera found herself torn between irritation and amusement.

Sidharth had a way of getting under her skin, but there was something undeniably charming about his persistence.

"you can do it Meera"

That evening, they met at a cozy restaurant in the hotel. Meera wore a simple yet elegant dress, trying to keep things strictly professional.

Her outfit:

Sidharth, however, seemed relaxed and at ease in his casual attire.

"Wow, Meera. Tum sach mein business karne ke liye hi dinner pe aayi ho, businesswoman," he teased as they sat down.

Meera gave him a look. "Yes, Sidharth. It's called being professional."

Sidharth chuckled. "Alright, let's get down to business then."

They discussed her business plan in detail.

Sidharth asked insightful questions, and Meera found herself impressed by his knowledge and perspective.

Despite their differences, she couldn’t deny that he was a good businessman.

"Your plan is solid, Meera. But you need to work on your marketing strategy," Sidharth suggested.

Meera nodded, taking notes. "I know. That's been a challenge."

Sidharth leaned forward, his expression serious. "I'll help you. But tumhe meri kuch conditions maan ni hongi."

Meera raised an eyebrow. "Kaisi conditions?"

Sidharth smirked. "Pehli condition, tumhe meri saari marketing advice follow karni hogi. Second, tumhe mujhse dur bhaagne ki adat chhodni hogi."

Meera blinked, taken aback. "What do you mean?"

Sidharth leaned back, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "You know what I mean, Meera. Tum hamesha mujhse dur bhaagti rehti ho. Maybe it's time to change that."

Meera's cheeks flushed. "That's not... I don't..."

Sidharth laughed softly. "Relax, Meera. I'm just saying, we need to work together closely for this to succeed. So, truce?"

Meera looked at him, his earnest expression catching her off guard. Maybe this could work. She extended her hand. "Truce."

Sidharth shook her hand, his touch lingering for a moment longer than necessary. "Great. Let's do our best"

As they left the restaurant, Meera felt a strange sense of optimism. Maybe, just maybe, this unlikely partnership could work.

The next morning, as Meera sat in her room reviewing their notes, her phone buzzed. It was a message from her father.

Dad: "We've arranged a marriage meeting for you. It's the least you can do for us. Your career isn't important anymore."

Meera's heart sank. She had fought so hard to build her business, to prove herself. But her father's words were a harsh reminder of the expectations that had always weighed on her.
