Chapter 18

*Evelyn POV*

I get interrupted from my sleep because my phone was ringing, without seeing who it was i answer. "What do you want, you woke me up and now i'm cranky?" I say.

"Well damn, I wanted to say I'll pick you up in a hour." He replies. Holy shit, Cam. What time was it?!

"Wait what time is it?" I say panicking.

"It 8AM." He replies.

"Why so early?"

"I want to have all day with you." He says

"Okay , umm thanks. Sorry for being pissy, I'm not a morning person. Next time i want a heads up." I say.

"This is a heads up, next time I'll just show up at your door."

"Whatever Dallas, bye i need to get ready."

"Bye, cute morning voice by the way." With that he hangs up. I start to blush. I make my way to the shower, shower then get dressed to what i bought yesterday with Ashley.

(1 hr is over)

Im sitting on my bed waiting for Cameron and take a picture in my full length mirror and post it on twitter and caption it: when am i not a nervous reck, pray i don't die please.

I sit back down and my dad comes in, "Sweetie have fun on your date but please don't do anything stupid. Cameron can be kinda umm... stupid."

I laugh, "I won't, I promise." With that he kisses my temple. The doorbell rings and i know it's Cameron I walk downstairs and my mom is already talking to Cameron, i giggle.

"Mom he's my date leave him alone." I say laughing. She turns to me and smiles

"I know honey." She turns back to Cam. "Don't do anything to get my daughter in trouble, don't mess with her feelings, and don't do anything that you wouldn't do in front of me." With that she walks towards me and kisses my cheek and says bye. I walk to the door and look up to Cameron.

"You look beautiful." He says smiling. He hand me a rose.

"Thanks Dallas you don't look bad yourself." I say looking at the ground smiling. We walk to his car and he opens the door for me. "Where we going?"

He starts to drive, "These are all surprises." I turn up the music and sing along and 1 minute later we're both screaming lyrics of "Sing" by Ed Sheeran. I'm dancing in my seat when i turn to see Cam recording me. I stop immediately and slap the phone from his hand and it falls. "HEY!" He screams at me pulling up to IHop.

"Why we here?" I ask confused.

"Is this not good enough." He asks offended.

"No, im so sorry i came out like-" I was cut off.

"I'm kidding this is breakfast because i know you're hungry and so am I. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." We go inside and get seated. The waiter comes over and let me tell you she has a show going on, the shirt couldn't be lower and those jeans couldn't be tighter. She looks at me and rolls her eyes but sweet talks Cameron.

"Hi cutie, can i get your order?"She says while smiling.

Cam looks at me and without looking at her says, "2 orders of short stack pancakes with orange juice and a different waiter please." I smile, he did that for me because he knew how i would feel. I blush and he laughs quietly.

"Ugh fine but she needs a salad not pancakes." With that comment she walks away. I look at Cam.

"You're gorgeous, you need pancakes anyway." I blush at Cam's comment.
