That's a Rose that I doodled. I've also doodled every other character that will be in this book so you'll see them as we go.
Chapter Fifteen : Story of Statera
Alex blinked and stared blankly at Alpha. One of the many lights that were floating in the abyss bumped into his head and Alex turned to stare at the little light before shoving it away from him and rubbed the side of his while shooting a glare towards the light. He turned his attention back towards Alpha.
"So... I thought that it was just you and your brother? That's what Rose told me." A sad smile graced Alpha's face.
"My brother... He was a great fighter." As he spoke his finger danced and created light. Eventually the light began to bend to create a figure in armor. He was tall and lean, and to emphasize his words the other lights in the room rushed at the little light warrior.
The warrior fought with grace and strategy; weaving and jumping while defeating the lights easily. Alex turned his eyes up towards Alpha, who was watching the little figure dart around with sad love. His golden eyes darted up and met Alex's and he coughed and continued his story.
"The warrior was known through out the land. He believed in true fairness, in not being biased, and to do something right in a world of wrongs." He gazed sadly as the little figure walked through light towns, playing with little girls while also fighting the monsters that seemed to rise at night. "However he became proud. He heard tale of a terrifying dragon in a dark universe of the unknown. Rumors describing the horrors of the dragon and all the people he has slain. So of course," a sad laugh escaped Alpha. "Brother went after him." The light figure racing upon a white light in the shape of a horse, dancing across the still air. A giant hole seemed be ripped into the abyss, and dark light created the scene of a cave. The light figure strode into the cave, and the cave swung around so that they were in it. Alex could only watch in wonder as the darkness around then produced inky star like liquid that dripped into the form of a dragon. Long wings solidified with the stars lining them. Bright purple lights blinked in the dragon's eyes as though they were universes, and it's scales turned to shiny blackness gleaming within the dark. The light figure ran fearlessly towards the dragon, and Alex watched in horror as the dragon flew up and blew flames of purple fire. As the fight continued it became obvious that the two were equally matched, however as Alpha moved to continue the story, his heart clenched.
"The warrior made a mistake, by losing sight of who he was and what he symbolized. He wasn't being fair." The dragon reared back and blew the hot flames at the figure, and as the warrior blocked it with his shield the dragon whipped his tail around, cutting the warrior across his eyes. Alex reared back and scrambled away from the dragon which roared before talking in a deep voice as the light figure stumbled around.
"Are you not Statera, God of Equality?" The dragon sneered, prowling around the stumbling figure. "You are becoming more like your brothers. Do things first without hearing the other side." The little light figure clutched his hands to his eyes as little light trails ran down his face. "I have been living peacefully here for hundreds of years, I am older than you." The dragon walked around Statera, who had collapsed on the invisible ground. "You were my favorite you know." The dragon laid down beside Statera, his body circling around his falling figure. "So strong yet you were neutral. You gave others hope."
Alex watched as the little light figure looked up at the dragon.
"You said gave." Statera's voice rang out through the abyss and Alpha couldn't take it anymore. The light dispelled and Alpha collapsed to the abyss's floor. Alex turned and shuffled over to him.
"Alpha, are you okay?" A sob threatened to escape as Alpha crouched over. He had forgotten what his brothers voice sounded like. He had forgotten... "Alpha?" Alpha glanced up to see Alex staring down at him in worry. He straightened and looked at Alex's green eyes and sighed.
