[Jay's POV]

Things were starting to spiral out of control. The Lee clan had been making moves, and tension was mounting within our ranks. We could feel the pressure closing in, like a storm brewing on the horizon.

"We need to act fast," I said, my voice steady but filled with urgency as I addressed the crew gathered in the dimly lit room. The weight of leadership had never felt so heavy. "They're planning something, and if we don't strike first, it'll be too late."

Sunghoon leaned forward, arms crossed. "What's the plan, then? We can't afford any mistakes."

I glanced around at the faces of the people I trusted most. Jake, Sunghoon, Heeseung—they were all waiting for my decision. But I knew something had to change.

"We need to include her," I said, my voice firm.

A wave of surprise washed over the room, and all eyes were on me. "Are you serious?" Jake asked, raising an eyebrow. "You really think she's ready for this?"

"She's proven herself," I replied, trying to keep my emotions in check. I knew how reckless this could look. "She's been training with us, and she's stronger than we think. We can't afford to underestimate her."

Sunghoon shifted uncomfortably. "Jay, this is dangerous. The stakes are higher than they've ever been. We can't risk her getting hurt."

I shot him a look. "And what do you think will happen if we leave her out? She's already in too deep. The Lee clan knows she's with us. We have to give her a fighting chance."

Before anyone could argue further, she walked into the room. Her gaze swept over all of us before landing on me. There was no fear in her eyes, only determination.

"Are we doing this or not?" she asked, her voice unwavering.

I nodded, motioning for her to come closer. "You're part of this now. No turning back."

She didn't hesitate, standing beside me as if she'd been preparing for this moment all along. My chest tightened at the thought of her stepping into danger, but I knew she was right where she belonged.

Later, as the final details of our plan fell into place, I found myself alone with her, the tension between us thick as ever.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" I asked, my voice softer now. I couldn't shake the gnawing fear that something could go wrong, and she could get hurt.

She met my gaze, her eyes steady. "I'm ready."

I reached out, resting my hand on her arm. The touch was brief, but it felt like a promise. "Stay close to me. We'll face this together."

She nodded, and I couldn't help but admire the strength she carried. In a few short days, everything would change. The storm was coming, and we'd face it side by side.
