[Rina's POV]

The rain poured heavily, drumming against the pavement, a perfect backdrop for my thoughts. I had always been the responsible one, the daughter of a well-known businessman. But when my father's debts caught up with him, it dragged me into a world I had always avoided: THE MAFIA.

As I hurried down the narrow alley, a chilling wind sent shivers down my spine. My heart raced; I was late for the meeting I didn't want to attend. The whispers of danger lingered around me, but I had no choice. My father's life depended on it.

I reached the dimly lit corner café, the designated meeting place. The air was thick with tension, the aroma of bitter coffee mixing with something darker. As I entered, my eyes scanned the room, landing on a figure sitting alone, exuding a dangerous charm. It was him-Jay, the infamous heir of the Park clan, known for his ruthlessness and charisma.

"About time," he said, his voice smooth as silk, eyes glinting with mischief. My pulse quickened, not just from fear but an inexplicable attraction. I knew I should despise him; his family was the reason for my father's troubles.

"Let's get this over with," I replied, attempting to mask my nervousness. I wasn't going to show him my vulnerability.

"Feisty, aren't you?" He smirked, leaning back in his chair, arms crossed. "I like that."

My irritation flared. "This isn't a game, Jay. Lives are at stake."

"Is that so?" He leaned forward, his expression shifting to something more serious. "Your father owes a lot of money. You really think you can just waltz in here and negotiate?"

Before I could respond, the door swung open, and the atmosphere shifted. I turned to see a group of men enter, their presence radiating authority. Jay's demeanor changed instantly, transforming into the cold, calculating mafia leader everyone feared.

"Get ready," he whispered, his breath ghosting my ear.

I felt the weight of his words. In that moment, I was no longer just the daughter of a businessman; I was a pawn in a deadly game.
