[Rina's POV]

The day of the showdown had finally arrived. My heart pounded as we made our way to the meeting spot—a grim, abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. The Lee clan was waiting for us, their figures barely visible in the dim light. The air was thick with tension, the kind that makes your skin prickle and your instincts scream.

Jay stood beside me, calm but focused, his hand brushing against mine in a subtle gesture of reassurance. "Stay close to me," he murmured, his voice low, but it carried the weight of a command.

I nodded, trying to steel myself for what was about to come. This was what we had been preparing for, but no amount of training could dull the fear gnawing at my chest. The Lees weren't just enemies; they were merciless, and we were stepping into their territory.

As we approached, a man stepped forward, smirking as he looked Jay up and down. "Jay Park," he said, his voice oozing with contempt. "Didn't think you had the guts to show up."

Jay's jaw tightened, but his expression remained unreadable. "I don't run from rats," he replied coldly, his eyes locking onto the man's. "This ends tonight."

The Lee members snickered, but I could sense the unease beneath their bravado. They didn't expect us to come here ready for a fight.

Without warning, all hell broke loose. One of their men lunged forward, and before I could blink, the fight had begun. I ducked just in time to avoid a punch aimed at my head, and the adrenaline kicked in.

I was in the thick of it now, my training coming to life as I dodged, punched, and fought my way through the chaos. Every movement felt instinctual, my body reacting to the danger around me. I could feel the rush of adrenaline, but I kept Jay in my sights, never straying too far from him.

"Behind you!" Jay's voice rang out, and I turned just in time to block a strike from one of the Lee clan members. Our eyes locked for a split second, a silent acknowledgment passing between us. We were in this together, no matter what.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows—a man larger than the rest, his eyes gleaming with malice. He charged toward me, and for a moment, I froze. But then, Jay was there, throwing himself in front of me, blocking the attack with a fierce growl.

"Stay back!" he barked, his tone sharper than usual. But I couldn't just stand there and watch him fight alone.

"I'm not leaving you," I said, stepping forward, my voice steadier than I felt.

Together, we fought side by side, our movements synchronized like we had been doing this for years. Each punch, each block, was a testament to the trust we had built—trust that ran deeper than either of us had realized.

When the dust finally settled, I stood breathless beside Jay, the warehouse eerily quiet around us. We had won. But as Jay turned to me, eyes filled with something deeper than relief, I knew the real fight was only just beginning.
