[Jay's POV]

It was time to test her. The day of reckoning had arrived, and I had a plan.

"We're going to make a statement tonight," I told the crew as we gathered in the dimly lit warehouse. My gaze fell on her. "And I need you with me."

She nodded, determination glinting in her eyes. "What do you want me to do?"

I smirked, appreciating her eagerness. "You're going to help me deliver a message to our rivals—the Lee clan."

As we prepped, I felt a surge of adrenaline. This was her moment. I could sense her nerves, but I also saw the fire behind her uncertainty.

Once we arrived at the designated location, I felt the tension in the air. The Lees were known for their brutality, and tonight was no different.

"Remember, stay close," I warned her as we approached the meeting point. "And whatever happens, don't panic."

The night unfolded like a scene from a movie. The Lees were there, their expressions cold and calculating.

"Jay Park," one of them said, stepping forward. "What brings you here?"

I flashed a confident grin, gesturing to my crew. "Just a little chat. We need to settle some debts."

He scoffed. "You think you can just stroll in here and demand respect?"

I stepped closer, my voice low and firm. "You'll respect us when we're done."

As tensions escalated, I felt her presence beside me, steadying me. I was impressed; she wasn't backing down.

"Don't forget who you're dealing with," the Lee member warned, eyes narrowing.

I glanced at her, then back at him. "We're not afraid of you."

Suddenly, a scuffle broke out, and I grabbed her arm, pulling her close. "Stay behind me!"

I could hear her breathing heavily, adrenaline coursing through her veins.

"Now you see why I brought you," I murmured, my focus shifting back to the fight.

She nodded, eyes blazing with determination. "Let's show them what we're made of."

In that moment, I realized that this girl was more than just a pawn; she was becoming a partner in crime, and I wasn't ready for what that meant.
