2 hours after Yoongis and Y/N talk on the gallery walk

"Have you seen her?" My voice sounded shrill, like I was a completely different person. It never sounded like that. Never. Usually, I was praised by our fans for my angelic vocals and soft tone. But now, there was only urgency and sheer panic left.
"N-no." The tall man with the bluish-grey hair answered. His pretty face was pale, and somehow it triggered even more panic in me. He was our leader. He was rarely shaken or scared, but now he was, and it felt horrible.
"She can't just disappear into thin air, Jimin. We have to stay calm and be strategic about this." Hoseok looked collected and calm. He was good in these kinds of situations, always knew when to step in and take charge. I admired that. "Sang-hoon just left Y/N with Yoongi at the gallery walk when he spotted her in the crowd. We all heard his call. Yoongi should have too. So maybe he tried to help Jin and went to look for him? Trusting Y/N was safe on the gallery, above all those people."
"But leaving her alone wasn't part of the plan!" I almost regretted shouting that loudly, but the rage inside me was overwhelming. I'd never felt this way before. This helpless. Y/N meant so much to me, and if she was in danger... With shaking hands, I paced around the empty office, trying to find a solution to this mess.

"Hey, baby..." A warm voice said gently, and I felt a hand soothingly run over my back. "We will find her. Somehow. No one in this room, no, in this company, would allow any harm to come to her. And don't forget..." Taehyung smiled his boxy smile, and something deep inside me started to relax a bit. "...she is very powerful and very brave."
"Hyung is right, Jiminie. We will find her. Safe and sound." The voice of my fiancé echoed through the quiet room, and I stopped. My eyes fell on the younger man sitting next to Namjoon, his arm wrapped around our leader, soothingly rubbing his back. With a determined smile, he looked at me. There was so much trust and positivity... I was in awe. And it helped contain the rage a bit.

"It was your fucking job to keep her safe, dumbass! I knew you were capable of precisely nothing!"

Oh well, so much for a positive, soothing atmosphere. I shook my head, listening to the agitated voices coming through the ajar door, getting louder by the second. I made my way over to Namjoon, sitting down next to him, ready for the show about to unfold. Maybe it would help ease the situation. Or maybe everything would combust. I was intrigued. And judging by the wide-eyed stares of everyone else in the room, they felt the same. Taehyung even chuckled.

"Nothing? Nothing?! I planned this whole damn thing, trying my absolute best to end this shitty situation! To give them back their well-deserved life with Y/N! I would hardly call that nothing!"
"You. Fucking. Plan. Didn't. Work. Idiot." The voices outside were dangerously low now. "Now she's gone. My best friend in the world disappeared because you had to play the big, clever detective—which you clearly are not."
"No, it did work, at least until... if you just—"
"No. Save your breath." The coldness in the response made me shiver. I was glad I was on this side of the door. "I trusted you with one of the most important people in my life. She's my family, Sang-hoon."
I froze. They said his name. For the first time ever. It was really serious.
"I asked you, begged you, that this plan was foolproof. That using her as bait wouldn't harm her in any way. That you had every possible entrance, every exit blocked off. You promised."
"I... I..."
It seemed the usually talkative detective was out of words. I pitied him a bit. He'd turned out to be a nice, loyal guy over the past few weeks, someone I had come to like. But I understood the anger aimed at him. I felt it too. I trusted him too. It was a complicated situation.
