A big Christmas party at HYBE headquarters stirs the pot vigorously. Honest words, fake kisses, and a secret plan will either save or drown Y/N's current chaotic life. What will happen? Find out!

Two weeks can go by really fast.
Was it really only last week that Jin's horrible ex-girlfriend, Ha-eaun, resurfaced in the most unexpected way, intruding into your current life? Not just as an inconvenient shadow from the past, but as a potential candidate for the one stalking you and trying to harm you. Maybe she was working with Ji-ho? Or maybe not. And what about Jane? Was she truly just a hallucination from all the stress, or was she real and out to finish what she had started all those years ago? You didn't know.

And it was killing you.
Even worse was knowing that the boys and HYBE were doing everything they could, every day, to find them—any clue about this blurry web of lies and terror. But even they couldn't find anything. At least, that's what they told you. Those secret meetings continued, and you comforted yourself, knowing they only wanted what was best for you and your future together. They told you as much as they safely could, you were sure of that. But stumbling through this darkness, forced into ignorance, was hard. And to top it off, Christmas was approaching, which meant the HYBE Christmas event was right around the corner—bringing with it lots of work and the pressure of pretending in front of everyone that everything was fine.

So, you dove into the preparations, welcoming the distraction and enjoying the ease of working with your amazing team. Ever since HYBE saw your work with the museum, it was almost certain that once you started working there, you'd be tasked with planning the big event. You decorated the impressive foyer of the company's main building to perfection. Everywhere you looked, there were beige flowers, emerald pine branches, and shimmering golden lights. Electric candles, fairy lights, and strategically placed lanterns bathed the huge room in a magical glow. Cozy groups of satin couches, a large buffet, and a spacious wooden dance floor completed the scene, as though it had been plucked right out of Wonderland.

And then... as if you had blinked just once, you were there. Right in the middle of the busy crowd—drinking, dancing, laughing, and eating. Enjoying the festive atmosphere. You moved through the crowd, shaking hands here and there, a fake smile plastered on your lips.

Your gown, woven from thousands of silver-golden beads, swayed around your hips and legs. It was cut into a tightly fitted corset, hugging your curves perfectly, and then flowed down into an elegant tulle skirt, with the same beads scattered across. The vintage feel and 20s-silhouette fit you like a glove. Your shiny hair, styled in gentle waves, framed your face perfectly, accenting your bold red lips and the dramatic eye look. You knew you looked good. No, not just good—beautiful. But that confidence only wavered on the surface, like a carefully placed mask, never slipping even once.

You walked up to a person leaning casually against one of the large marble walls surrounding the room, sipping from a glass of champagne from time to time. A small smile played on their lips, and their eyes gleamed gently when they noticed your approach.

Showtime.

"There you are, darling." The voice was deep, a little raspy—sweet, even. And a bit alluring. But you felt nothing. "I've been waiting for you. Come here."

With one fluid motion, the person, dressed in a partially see-through, loosely fitted black shirt and perfectly tailored black pants, took your hand and pulled you into a warm embrace. Their lips were almost touching yours, their heavily outlined eyes darting through you with an intense expression. They looked very hot and longing. Almost lusting for you. But you could only manage a small smile in return, probably not reaching your eyes properly.
