You slept last night in your bed peacefully after finishing your college assignments.

However, you didn't expect to wake up the next morning  in a different place in a different timeline.

And not only that but you find yourself laying beside a basket with a baby inside of it on the Nile river bank.

At first, you thought you were in a dream, and the Baby in the basket is Prophet Moses 'peace be upon him'.

However, you quickly shove away that thought after discovering that the baby is a female from the papyrus paper in the basket.

The words were impossible to read due to it being written in Hieroglyphics.

But blinking once and twice, you begin to slowly and surprisingly understand what is written.

𓍿𓂝𓎡𓇋 𓍿𓄒𓇋 𓏲𓆑 𓂿 𓃀𓃁𓏭
𓈙𓂝𓆑𓇋 𓍿𓉔𓇋 𓊪𓉔𓄒𓂝𓏲𓉔
𓄿𓈖𓂧 𓏭𓏲𓏲 𓊃𓉔𓂝𓃭𓃭 𓆵𓏏𓏲𓍷 𓉔𓏲𓂞.

(Take care of the baby
Save The pharaoh
And you shall return home.)

What type of stupidity is that...this all must be a dream, you can't possibly have transported back to Ancient Egypt.

Yet again, doesn't the dream turn into a nightmare when you discover it's a dream?

You grab the basket and start walking until you reach an area populated with people.

The bystanders gives you strange looks as you walk past them while cooing at the baby.

The strange looks are directed at your pajamas which has your favourite character printed on them.

"What should I name you? Nefertari? Nefertiti? Maat? Neith?...Sara?"

You keep muttering all the ancient female names you could think of  befitting the child.

"Watch out!"

You hear screams from all around you but when you look up, you see a certain young Pharaoh on his chariot rushing through the streets.

You quickly place the basket with a woman telling her to take care of the baby for a moment, before doing the most unexpected thing ever.

And you don't know why you have done it or why.

Once the chariot is close enough, you jump on it behind the stranger.

You grab the reins of the horse to stop it from making contact with one of the trees.

"Pretty girl"

The drunken rider chuckles once he sees the face of his savior, you

The Pharaoh chuckles drunkly before falling right into your embrace, blacking out with a smile on his face.

Wait...is that Tutankhamun?

You have watched many documentaries about him.

And his cause of death was riding a chariot while being drunk and fall of it, fracturing his leg.

Which later caused infection and of course death.

You see the soldiers rushing up to the chariot.

Great, you are in trouble.

°°°°°°°

You got thrown in the dungeons with the baby.

Honestly, you tried to explain your situation.

Yet, there is one problem, you can't speak the Ancient Egyptian language.

Understand it? Yes, speak it? No.

What amused you is that the baby didn't even cry as if she feels your pain.

But how long will it take until she begins crying for food?

"The pharaoh wishes to speak with you."

One of the guards opens the wooden door of the dungeon cell, startling you.

°°°°°°°

"

What is your name?"

You gulp before speaking out your name.

As Tutankhamun examines you and the baby in curiosity.

"You saved my life...are you married?"

The question doesn't fit the sentence, it causes you a bit of confusion but you answer by shaking your head in a 'no'.

The young Pharaoh frowns when you don't answer him with your voice.

He enjoys hearing your voice, the way you voiced your name is different.

But it doesn't matter, just knowing that you don't have a husband is comforting.

Even if you do have a husband, he was going to get rid of him.

"What is your baby's name?"

You think for a moment, but when you were about to give her a name.

Tutankhamun cuts in.

"I would like to call her Tetisheri"

(Pronunciation: Te-Ti Cherry)

Now, you find very arrogant of him to just rename the baby.

Indeed, you didn't name her yet, but he doesn't know that.

"From today on, you and the Tetisheri are under my care"

Is that what the papyrus meant by saving the Pharaoh and taking care of the baby?

Well, you need to do what you got to do to return back home.

Little do you know, that Tutankhamen sees you as a replacement.

His wife left him, and his daughter's were stillborns.

So, you and the baby are the family he has always wanted.

He believes that Amun has finally answered his prayers and sent you and Tetisheri as a blessing.
