The sudden disappearance of your mother left you in a state of shock and confusion.

One moment she was there, ready to whisk you away from this ancient world, and the next, she was gone.

As you turned to leave the chamber, you noticed something on the floor where your mother had been standing.

It was a small, intricately carved amulet, one you had never seen before. You picked it up, examining it closely.

The amulet was made of a strange, shimmering metal, and it bore symbols that you couldn't quite understand.

It felt warm in your hand as if it carried some kind of energy.

"It better be worth something."

"You killed them only for speaking with me? What insanity is this?!"

"I thought you accepted me for all my flaws."

"Flaws?" you spit out the word, the taste of it turning bitter in your mouth.

"You dare call this a flaw? Snoring and being overprotective are flaws! But this, this tyrannical, possessive bloodlust, this utter disregard for human life, this is not a flaw, Tutankhamun! It is a crime."

You say after Tutankhamun admits killing The King of Mycenae and his wife, and also the Hittites' second prince.

"I can't control myself."

Tutankhamun states flatly, his eyes still disturbingly nonchalant.

His lack of remorse and his cold detachment from the heinous acts he committed paint a chilling picture of a psychopathic character.

'Matvei was right all along...I should have left you from the beginning.'

Tutankhamun reaches for you, but you move away from him, giving him an angry glare instead.

"If you think you can fix this with sweet words and gifts, then you are very wrong." you spat.

Tutankhamun chuckles in disbelief at your reaction.

"Funny how you knew I killed my sister and didn't react that way, but now you are acting like a woman who lost her lover."

His accusation makes you sneer.

"You better not be implying what I think you are implying."

Having gotten on your nerves, your husband decides to add more gas to the fire.

"You are a hypocrite-"

"Did you see me cheating with any man? Did you see me sending any love letters to any man?"

You erupt out, tears of frustration beginning to build up.

Tutankhamun's smirk falters for a moment, but his coldness quickly returns.

He steps closer.

"You think your tears will sway me? You think your righteous anger will change what I am? I am Pharaoh. I am a god among men. My will is the law."

You clench the amulet tighter in your hand, its warmth surging as if responding to your emotions. The symbols on its surface seem to glow faintly, though you’re too consumed by your anger to notice.

"You are no god," you hiss, your voice trembling.

"If you are God then why haven't you fixed your deformities...no, no, I got a better question."

You smile at him, tilting your head to the side slightly.

"Why were you born with deformities to begin with?"

Suddenly, he slaps you harshly across the face, leaving you in shock.

However, from under the nearby table, Tetisheri emerged before rushing towards you two.

"How dare you harm, Mama?!"

The little girl hits her adoptive father in the stomach with her little fists.

"Stop."

Tutankhamun grabs her small hands, forcing her to not attack him.

Yet when you see your feet starting to disappear, you realize what is going on.

And without thinking much about it.

You grab into Tetisheri.

Making the Amulet transport you and her to somewhere completely different.

Tutankhamun stands there in confusion, blinking once, blinking twice.

He doesn't remember anything.

Just like he was given blessings, it was taken away from him.

And you...

"You failed your first task."

All you can do as the older man speaks to you is hold onto Tetisheri, who is hugging your waist.

"And you are?"

"I'm the headmaster of the academy, and you failed your task."

"You are the one who put me through all this trouble and kidnapped Tetisheri from the orphanage-"

"No time to explain; I will give you another chance to not fail this semester; your next task is traveling to..."

He stops and smiles before continuing.

"Actually, let it be a surprise."

"What about my daughter?" you inquire.

"She can come with you."

"What's your name?"

"Dad" he replies.

"Wait what?"

"Succeed in the task and I will tell you everything, also, I forgot to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Matvei, your friend, is going to be there."

"Oh. God. No"
