"You are searching for successors to aid you in time traveling quests."
"Yes, you see I use magic to time-travel, and help give a chance to others to change and be happy."
You slowly swallow in the information you are given.
"What is your name?"
"Horace."
"And why did you leave Tetisheri with me?" you demand.
"Because she needs a mother figure in her life, and a good father, not me."
His explanation feels more anonymous then honest.
"Did Matvei really time-travel using a time machine?"
You thought he would not know who 'Matvei' is and would ask you who that is.
Surprisingly he does know him.
"No, he did not, I just decided to punish him."
"Punish him for what?"
Horace's eyes narrowed at your question about Matvei.
"He mocked time, and said it's his bitch," he said coldly.
"So I took him back to Ancient Egypt to live his worst moment."
You studied Horace's face, trying to discern if he was telling the truth.
His expression remained stony and unreadable.
"But he is kind of doing fine."
"Not for long, let me remind you that your future husband is the Pharaoh, and once he married you he would kill him off."
You chuckle in disbelief.
"I told him Matvei is my brother, therefore he knows that if he kills him that I would get angry." you explain.
"You don't know who you are dealing with, my dear."
You smile and shrug at him.
"If I play the game right, there is nothing to fear...by the way why did you choose me?"
"Because you are beautiful."
You smile a little at the reply, feeling a bit flustered.
"Not because of my personality?"
"A man won't be staring at a woman's personality when she suckles his dick, I'm sure Tutankhamun would agree with me on that."
Hearing that made you feel pure disgust.
"Tutankhamun will be the easiest on your journey, the next ones won't be as easy."
"The next ones? What next ones?!"
However, you don't get an answer as he disappears, leaving you alone.
Or are you alone?
"Who were you talking to?"
You turn around to see Matvei walking towards you.
"What are you talking about? I wasn't talking to anyone." I lie.
"I have heard you speak to someone."
"I was speaking to myself, Matvei"
"Is that your way of telling that the heat has finally melted your brain cells."
You raise an eyebrow at him, before giving him a smile.
"Yes, the same way the cold in Russia has frozen your brain cells."
Matvei feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart.
"You wound me, and here I thought we had a blossoming friendship."
"Well, then would you like to play a game in my chambers?" you offer him.
Matvei's eyes grew big.
"So soon, Зайка?"
You ignore the russian word he uses, not knowing what it means, as you continue speaking.
"Hurry up, or you might miss the opportunity."
𓋹𓆣𓋹𓆣𓋹𓆣
"You lost again."
"This is the tenth time in a row, so unfair."
You whine as you get defeated by Matvei at the Senet game.
You used to defeat Heqet at it all the time.
But it seems like your handmaiden was going easy on you all along.
"I thought you said you were a master at the game?" Matvei teases.
"The sun is already up, maybe we should stop playing."
You look at the window only to realize that you two have been playing nonstop all night.
Suddenly the doors to your chambers open as the guards announce the arrival of the Pharaoh.
"I knew you had been cheating on me with your brother."
Tutankhamun accuses, glaring at Matvei who rolls his eyes.
"Do you see me fucking her on the bed with her legs up on my shoulders? Of course not, because she is my sister."
Matvei stands up, walking towards the Pharaoh.
"And If I was fucking her, she would have been pregnant with my baby by now."
Tutankhamun's eyes narrowed at Matvei's crude words.
He drew his infamous dagger out , pointing it at the Russian's throat.
"You dare speak such filth about my wife? I should cut out your tongue!"
"Tut, please, calm down," you interjected, standing between the two men.
"Matvei is my brother, he would never do such a thing, and I have not been unfaithful to you, I swear."
You placed a hand on Tutankhamun's chest, feeling his heart racing beneath your palm.
Slowly, he lowered his dagger.
"You and me will play a round of Senet, if I win, I will execute you."
Matvei smiles, accepting the agreement.
"Fine, but if I win, I take my sister and niece with me and leave."
What frightened you is not how Matvei agreed to such madness.
But the fact that Tutankhamun is the best to play this game.
No, you are not joking, Tutankhamun is known throughout Egypt to be the best player at the game.
